It's Not Just About sKerry's Flip Flopping

It's about the UN, and it's involvement. We know how corrupt they were in Iraq, because we've paid attention, but do we realize how deep it goes? I didn't until I received a letter today. It was from an American Hero, Mike New. I had no idea of this case. Google it, or check out his site at http://www.mikenew.com/index.shtml This is a young man who swore to defend our constitution, but Bill Clinton ordered them to serve the UN. This soldier said, "NO". He refused to remove the American flag from his uniform, he refused to wear a baby blue UN hat, or turn in his military ID in exchange for UN Peacekeeper ID! As a result, he's been in the courts for the past 8 years! The government keeps trying to dismiss his case, but he knows he's fighting for the rights of all of the soldiers now in Iraq! He wants his good name back, and he wants to be sure they will never have to face an "international" court, for war crimes, as perceived by the UN!

We all know that sKerry would turn over our national security to the corrupt UN, but do we really know all of the ramifications if he gets his way? Have you heard about the ICC? Did you know our troops could be subjects of the International Criminal Court?

"One World Order" is not my idea of where America should be going. Am I the only one? I don't think so.

"Crawford Wants Newspaper To Eat Its Words"

So read the headline in The San Antonio Express News today. "Photos of President Bush hugging diners and mugging for the camera adorn the walls of the Crawford Coffee Station, a popular cafe in this small Central Texas town Bush calls home.

Just a few miles from the Bush ranch, the spot is a popular place for locals to gather in the morning for coffee, breakfast and a glance at the day's news.

But the rack that once held the Lone Star Iconoclast - Crawfords weekly newspaper - now is empty, thanks to a blistering indictment in Tuesday's paper of Bush's presidential record and a call to elect Democrat John Kerry in November.

For a town drenched in Bush, the editorial is practically heresy.

"Not only is he the president of the United States, he's my neighbor, he's my customer", Coffee Station owner Nick Spanos said, "We're not carrying that paper after today."

The article goes on, "The firestorm began Tuesday morning, when readers opened up the newspaper to Page 2 and found an entire half-page criticizing the president for a variety of failings and calling for the election of Kerry." Don't mess with a Texas President!

It continues. "As of Wednesday morning, more than a dozen readers had canceled their subscription [Note by me, they only had 450 to begin with!] and six advertisers had pulled their spots from the paper." It goes on to say they expect more, and they've been fielding angry phone calls since they published that edition.

The editor complains that we no longer live in a "free society". My message to you, Mr. Smith, sure, it's a free society, but there are consequences to your choice, and you chose to write against the president's re-election. The consequence to that is they chose to stop taking your paper, and spending money advertising in it, because they support him. Take your licks, and stop whining.

Got a Tissue?

http://tinyurl.com/3kol8 You'll need one, but boy is it uplifting!

New Link

I added a link to the sidebar, for one of my favorite bloggers, LaShawn Barber. Not only is she a great writer, but she is right on top of any news developments or information you need to know about the Blogosphere. I hope you enjoy reading her blog as much as I do.

Dr. Phil with Mr. & Mrs. George W. Bush

Should be a fun show today on Dr. Phil. He gets to interview the President and First Lady! I am not a frequent visitor to his show, but my husband and I will be watching today! Three Texans, hashing out the world's problems? Sounds like great fun to me!

She’s At It Again!

Barbra Streisand is opening her mouth again, and it is not for singing!

"If you open your mouth and tell the truth like former White House Economic Advisor Lawrence Lindsay did when he told the Administration that the Iraqi war was going to cost between $100-$200 billion dollars, you get fired. "

Ms. Streisand is getting her information from CBS, and we know how reliable they are, right? Ms. Streisand, Lindsay was a holdover from Clinton. One of the things that I’ve disagreed with our President from the start, is that he didn’t fire all of the Clintonistas in the White House! Mr. Lindsay was particularly fond of playing down the economy, and the White House got tired of his naysaying, and they booted him! Finally! [Do these people believe they are so revered, that the American public will believe any lie they spew? I believe they do!]

"If you disagree with the President, like Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill did one too many times regarding the President's policy on tax cuts, you get canned. "

Again, she’s assuming something that just flat is not true! Why do these libs keep telling lies, and assuming no one will question them? I would have fired him too, he’d have taken away my tax cut if he’d had his way! He deserved to be fired!

"If you claim that the Administration is misrepresenting the facts and misleading the public, like Former Ambassador Joseph Wilson did, your wife's career gets ruined when she gets outed as a CIA operative in the national media. "

There she goes again! Joseph Wilson outed his own wife, in a photo shot for a magazine! It was not a great loss for the CIA, either!

"If you tell the administration that several thousand more servicemen and women are needed in Iraq, like General Shinseki did, you get publicly scolded as being incorrect. "

Ms. Streisand, even in the Army they are allowed their own opinion. General Tommy Franks was the man in charge of the troops. If he’d thought we needed more, he would have asked, and received them. And please show me where he was officially reprimanded...if you can find it. I couldn't!

"And, if you choose to air a story about George Bush's military service, or lack thereof, like CBS did last week, you and your award winning news anchor, get investigated by the FCC. "

This one is so ridiculous, I need not even address it. But I will. Hey Babs! Do you know the meaning of “forgery”?

Again, can I just plead with you, Ms. Streisand? Shut up and SING!

Another Lie from sKerry!

You know, I don't give a flying fig where sKerry got that ridiculous orange face, but the fact that he had to lie that he got it at a "football game at Harvard over the weekend" goes again to the character issue that the Swift Vets have been pushing. Drudge posted an article he found in The Crimson, the official Harvard newspaper, that puts that to a total lie! Here's the exerpt that proves it, "The College Dems who met Kerry were surprised by his tan skin and tall stature. They were energized for the campaign’s final push before the Nov. 2 election." He had just got off the plane, so how could he have gotten the tan LATER, in a football game?

Now the funny part is, that they would be upset if they knew their college paper had blown his cover! The longer this race goes on, the funnier it gets!

Now we have Michael Mooreon & George Sora$$ ramping up the Bush-bashing efforts! Michael Mooreon is touring college campus' all over America just prior to 11/2. I'm excited to see the Young Republican Clubs going on the stump for Bush at these campus'!

And then there is Sora$$. According to Drudge, he's redoubling his efforts to "get Bush". The Hungarian billionaire who wants to legalize marijuana, and is a former partner of President Bush, in his one failed business that the left likes to tout, in case you didn't realize those two little factoids. He is wanted in France for manipulating their markets. Anyone know anything about the futures' markets? Anyone curious about the gas prices going up to $50.00+ a barrel? Things that make me go, "hmmmmmm".

Insidious Hollywood's Message!

One of the favorite movies I had as a young girl was "Pollyanna", starring Hayley Mills, who is the same age as me. Saw it on the list of offerings today, and decided to revisit it between chores. As I sit here watching Karl Malden at the pulpit, ranting like a maniac the old "hell & brimstone" Sunday Sermon, I realize how early the Hollywierdos started the training of "hate Christian fundamentalists, they're mean people"! I always looked at that movie like a light-hearted romp in "positive thinking", without ever realizing how it has affected me all these years. And believe me, there were many more! Spend some time watching old movies, and you'll see. This one also encourages the hatred between "haves" and "have nots"...heard that one before? The movie is ultimately redeeming, and positive, but it reminded me of so many movies that taught that Christianity was somehow evil.

I turned my back on my religion for much of my life, and yet resented the daylights out of the morons who want to remove "God" from the Pledge of Allegiance. And I rail at those who would remove the 10 Commandments from a U. S. Courthouse, the place that insures that we have accountability for our actions, just as the Commandments teach. I support your right to your religion, whatever it may be, as long as in practicing it, you do not believe I should be dead for practicing mine. But watching this movie, I wonder if my complacency did not add to the erosion of our country's Judeo-Christian founding. Did my complacency, with the complicity of Hollywood and MSM (mainstream media), erode our basis, erode our values, erode our laws and courts? Years ago, the looney left derided the "Moral Majority" as being fundamentalist creeps who would have us all wearing hairshirts.

Are we reawakening in America? We've been misled for too long folks, and asleep to the threat. It's been a long time coming, folks! It's time we woke up! Thank you, Mel Gibson, for reminding us of what Jesus Christ was all about!

Look At His Record!

John sKerry spent the day yesterday saying he was going to do what, essentially, the President is already doing. For instance, spend more money on security. That's a nice sentiment, but it's totally unbelievable coming from him, because he's been systematically dismantling the CIA & military for his entire 20 years in the Senate! Some days he just seems like a robot with a tape machine for a voice, and he spews whatever talking points he's been programmed with for that day! Does he ever pay attention to what he's said? Doesn't seem like it, because the next day, he says just the opposite! From "responding to terrorism" to "preemptive" in one week! All one needs to do, in deciding about sKerry, is to look at his voting record. If that would have been the way you would have voted, then he is your guy.

It is really fun to read Blogs for Bush (linked here), not only for the intelligent and succinct gathering of bloggers, but for the equally intelligent commenters. It gets really funny when they get the occasional dumocrap who will pop in and make their usual lame argument "Bush cost us jobs", etc. And watch a half dozen commenters rip the argument apart with facts! Not only do they rip them apart, they do it line by line, point by point. Periodically, there's one like "Gary" who almost sounds intelligent, then he says something stupid like "my kids will be paying for this deficit 20 years from now", then just stand back, and get an education in economics! I mean, we own Treasury Notes, they're a good investment! But the dumocraps have been parroting the same anti-Republican talking points for so long, they've forgotten how to arm themselves with facts!

And on that point, I'm going to admit an addiction. I'm a ditto-head. Yep. I'm hooked. I listen religiously to Rush Limbaugh. After a weekend of negative pundits arguing nonsense on the news, I can hardly wait for 11:00 a.m. CDT! I began listening to Rush 15-16 years ago (1989), because of a rough break-up of a marriage I thought would last my lifetime. I couldn't bear to listen to music, and because I was on the road alot, began listening to him. As a ground-breaking female in my professional life, I continued listening to him to argue "female" topics. I never was a feminist, just thought I should get paid the same as a man in my position. But after awhile, I found that I agreed more and more with what he said, because I'd always believed that unions were costing us money and jobs...in other words, he used logic. I've always prided myself on logic, and he made sense! Once in awhile, he'd say things that ran against what I'd been taught, i.e., Republicans had been trying to get civil rights legislation through for years before LBJ signed it. I thought, now wait a minute, wasn't JFK behind that? So I did some research, and learned he was right. JFK didn't care one way or the other. LBJ had fought it for years! It WAS the Republican party that pushed it through, leaving LBJ no choice but to sign it! That did it for me! I'd always been an "independent", I was now firmly in the Republican camp!

Allawi Gets a Standing "O"!

Ayad Allawi, Prime Minister of the new Iraq, addressed a joint session of congress today. He told the Congress & Senate that his country was not the failure that some (sKerry!) have suggested. He said that the upclick in terrorist activities is because they are desperate, they know they are losing the battle to the people of Iraq who want to be free.

sKerry, on the other hand, makes Iraq sound like a lost cause, in a speech he made yesterday. http://tinyurl.com/4lfnd "If George Bush were to be re-elected, given the way he has gone about this war and given his avoidance of responsibility in North Korea and Iran and other places, is it possible? I can't tell you."

And then today, after the remarkable & enthusiastic response from both sides of the aisle, and the standing ovation...not to mention the longest applause I've ever seen in that august body, along comes sKerry, immediately after the wonderful speech by Allawi, and he proceeds to pi$$ on our newest ally, Iraq. ""The prime minister and the president are here obviously to put their best face on the policy, but the fact is that the CIA estimates, the reporting, the ground operations and the troops all tell a different story," Kerry said." How would he know what the CIA reports are? He hasn't been in DC for weeks, and he hasn't gone to a Security Committee meeting since 9/11/01, so who does he think he's kidding? He wasn't at the joint session of congress today, he was at Columbus when he made those statements! As Allawi said, "we'll prove them wrong again!"

Well, I, for one, have spent too much time perusing the multitude of Iraqi Bloggers, from the teenage girl at "A Star from Mosul", http://astarfrommosul.blogspot.com/ to Sam at Hammorabi, http://www.hammorabi.blogspot.com/ , to the three brothers, Omar, Ali & Muhammed at Iraq the Model, http://iraqthemodel.blogspot.com/, I am not one who will believe the negative trash coming out of Lurch's mouth. I believe the pictures of Iraq these bloggers provide, especially the ones that Iraq the Model posted last July 17th. I'm sure they're still in their archives.

And Najma, at A Star from Mosul, even shares pictures of her newborn niece, and shares the customs of Iraqi women when a child is born into the family. Najma was born in 1988, but she is wise beyond her years. Today she posted pictures of a trip she and her family took on the Tigris, and shared information about traditional Iraqi foods. Her younger sister also has a blog, and she posts the cutest pictures of cats. Their cousin in Baghdad also posts pictures of cats, and they all talk about their schooling. In most Arab countries, women are not allowed to go to school!

sKerry likes the idea of scaring people. Americans are not "fraidy cats" by nature, so what he thinks he's gaining is beyond me! We don't do negativity well, Lurch. It ain't gonna work!

Rathergate Update!

You think there was no DNC/MSM connection on that story? Check this out:

"9 HOURS BEFORE THE CBS REPORT: "Democratic Party chairman Terry McAuliffe said, 'George W. Bush's cover story on his National Guard service is rapidly unraveling. ... George W. Bush needs to answer why he regularly misled the American people about his time in the Guard and who applied political pressure on his behalf to have his performance reviews 'sugarcoated.'" (Terence Hunt, "Questions Raised About Bush Guard Service," The Associated Press, 9/9/04)"

Does the "sugarcoating performance reviews" hit a chord? It's because it was repeated that evening, from Dan Blather, on 60 Minutes 2!

As a pundit on Fox News said today, "The only difference between Michael Moore and Terry McAuliffe is 300 pounds!"

Wictory Wednesday Post!
Mel Martinez, An American Success Story!

A program sponsored by the Catholic Church brought Mel Marinez to the United States when he was just a child. He lived in several foster homes until his family joined him. He has worked hard, and saved up $300 for the family to buy a car, and had lined up a job for his father. He worked his way through college, and has never looked back. The President needs him to be elected by the people of Florida. If y'all know someone in Florida, let them know that this is the kind of man who will look out for their interests, like he did the folks in Orange County, as he lowered their real estate taxes! That's a county that AlGore won, but this is a man who can win one for Bush!

And Talking About Great Candidates!

Myrah Kirkwood, a Detroit cop for 16 years, is the most courageous lady I can imagine! She is black, beautiful, and running in a state where black conservatives are not just rare, they're unknown! Until now. Check her out at http://www.myrahforcongress.com/ These are the kinds of folks we need to be elected! Offer your support, I have!

This is Depressing!

I spotted this on The Drudge Report, http://tinyurl.com/4m2wg , and after reading it I felt very depressed. I know they are far from home, but our soldiers are being affected by the trash that Michael Mooreon spews. His crapumentary is being viewed, and believed by young people who are homesick and facing danger. A pox on you, Mooreon! How dare you feed this garbage to anyone, let alone our troops!

This picked me up, somewhat; http://tinyurl.com/3vmkw since it tells about our sale of smart bombs going to Israel! Are you listening, Iran? Your time is coming! You freedom loving Iranis get ready, you are about to have your chance to get rid of your mullah government! Go for it! Israel will be happy to help you out!

Mood Lifted!

Just had a funny call, from NYC area code, and the number 000-0000. As I blogged a few days ago, I faxed a .pdf print-out of the recommendation deceased Lt. Colonel Jerry Killian wrote on 3 Nov 1970, to promote 2nd Lt. George W. Bush to the position of 1st Lt. George W. Bush. In article #3. Lt. Col. Killian wrote, "Lt. Bush is a dynamic outstanding young officer. He clearly stands out as a top notch fighter interceptor pilot. Lt. Bush is possessed of sound judgement, yet is a tenacious competitor and an aggressive pilot. He is mature beyond his age and experience level as evidenced by his recent participation in the unit firing deployment...." It goes on into military terminology to describe the deployment, but continues glowingly about our President's performance, including "Lt. Bush's skills far exceed his contemporaries. He is a natural leader whom his contemporaries look to for leadership." Long story short, this missive, WITHOUT the tiny "th", I faxed to Dan Rather at CBS at 212-975-1998. Today I got this call, and when I answered the phone with my usual "Hello", they hung up. What were they expecting? "Republican National Headquarters"?

It made MY DAY!

I Think They Hate Him Because...

...He has moral clarity & convictions of his vision. Because George W. Bush knows exactly what needs to be done, and what we need to do to defeat this new enemy called Terrorism, they hate him. Because he is willing to go to the source, and plant the seed of Democracy in the part of the world breeding these evil creatures!

For how many years did the unscrupulous thugs at the UN get away with lining their pockets while Iraqis were starving and doing without medical help? Yet sKerry would put them back in charge of Iraq and the middle east!

For how many years did the French, German & Russian companies get away with illegally arming the countries of the the middle east, especially Iraq? And because these countries are so socialistic, their governments directly benefitted by those arms deals! No wonder they didn't want us to mess up their game!

Would John sKerry invite them to get back in there, and share in the "spoils"? Ask the Vietnamese communist government! With his "french connection", what do you think?

During the past few days of my absence, I took the book "Unfit for Command" for airplane reading material. I can only read it for a short period of time before I have to put it down to allow my blood pressure to subside. This despicable & unscrupulous individual that the state of Massachusetts has seen fit to re-elect for two decades, does not have enough honor to lick the president's cowboy boots, let alone to be Commander and Chief of our military! The cowardice he showed in Viet Nam was unbelievable! And the lying reports he filed to receive his medals were not even known to his fellow officers until recently! His Silver Star was received due to his own erroneous action report. In reality, he fled the scene of the action he purports to having been the "hero" of, and fleeing to leave his fellow swift boat commander under fire, instead of engaging the enemy to assist him & his crew. It wasn't until 1996 that some of those abandoned men learned that the day they were attacked, and prevailed, was the day he claimed as his own & obtained the Silver Star, even though he left them in the lurch!

If you have not read this book, please do so. The research and the back up is profound, not to mention disturbing! You will end up wondering, as I do, why he's not in prison for being a traitor, or at least in some obscure corner of the earth. Instead, he's in office as a senator and running for president! And if you know a Viet Vet who thinks he might vote for sKerry because "he was really there", encourage them to get an education, and read the book. This is NOT the man they would want to cover their behinds! I met a few such men this weekend in Illinois, and was apalled that they would even consider voting for this piece of crud! And yes, I told them they NEED to read this book!

Not Much Time, but...

I do want to share this e-mail I received today. I've got a plane to catch this morning, but since I don't forward e-mail much anymore, I decided to share this here. It is important information, and something we need to pay attention to, unless we want to continue down this road:

At about the time our original 13 states adopted their new constitution, in the year 1787, Alexander Tyler (a Scottish history professor at The University of Edinburgh) had this to say about "The Fall of The Athenian Republic" some 2,000 years prior.
"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship."
"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From Bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage."
Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul,Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the most recent Presidential election:

Population of counties won by:
Gore=127 million
Bush=143 million

Square miles of land won by:

States Won By

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won was mostly the land owned by the tax-paying citizens of this great country. Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off government welfare..."
Olson believes the U.S. is now somewhere between the "complacency and "apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy; with some 40 percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

We are in the most important election year we have ever faced. Whatever you do, please remember to VOTE!

It's OUT! It's In RED! And it's RIDICULOUS!

Thanks to the Drudge Report, http://www.drudgereport.com , here's the long awaited statement:

"Statement by the President of CBS News, Andrew Heyward: "We established to our satisfaction that the memos were accurate or we would not have put them on television. There was a great deal of coroborating [sic] evidence from people in a position to know. Having said that, given all the questions about them, we believe we should redouble our efforts to answer those questions, so that's what we are doing."

"to our satisfaction" YOOOOHOOOO! SEE BS, have you not been paying attention? It's been proven to be a forgery, which all but 27% of the polled folks (whew, less than a third!) actually believe this bunk! sheesh! They just don't give up! And it'll get worse before November 2nd!

BTW, I've never done 3 posts in one day, and on a day when I had meetings, committees, etc. It must be a busy news day, right? Or is it just getting close to 11/2/04?

Further proof of the "brilliance" of the sKerry campaign:

Don't Arrest Kerry in Shotgun Incident, Gun-Law Expert Says
A Gun-law expert Alan Korwin is calling for calm in the national uproar over John Kerry's possible serious gun violations during a recent photo op in Racine, W.V.
The national clamor over the Democratic presidential candidate, who took possession of a Browning semiautomatic shotgun outside his home state, reflects a problem with the laws and should not be used to arrest and prosecute the man, Korwin says.
A gun crossing state lines is heavily regulated thanks to John Kerry and his ilk.
"There are so many charges Kerry might face," according to Korwin, who has written seven books on gun laws, including the unabridged plain-English federal guide "Gun Laws of America."
1. Taking ownership of the shotgun gift, if he doesn't already have a valid Massachusetts Firearm Identification Card, could subject him to a two-and-a-half-year prison term in his home state. Since he has claimed publicly he owns firearms, chances are he has this critical piece of paper, Korwin says.
2. Bringing the firearm back to Massachusetts, if he received it from a private party, would be a federal felony under the 1968 Gun Control Act (five years in prison, $5,000 fine, 18 USC §922).
3. The only exemption that would allow him to bring it into his home state requires that he obtained it in a face-to-face transaction with a federal firearms licensed dealer (FFL). A private gift would not qualify.
4. If Kerry did get it from an FFL, he would have had to personally fill out and sign a 4473 form, required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE), before the gift was given, under penalty of federal felony.
5. If Kerry did not personally undergo a "NICS" instant background check before the transfer from an FFL, he would have put the person conducting the transfer in some legal jeopardy, though the law contains a loophole that probably would save Kerry from additional harm (the dealer, not the recipient, suffers from failure to do the NICS check).

While gun lobbyists are inflamed that Kerry introduced a law that would outlaw this particular type of sporting shotgun and gun gifts in general, it is a good thing the law has not passed yet, because then it might be too serious a problem to simply ignore.

Korwin says that calls to indict Kerry are premature and "most certainly overkill. John Kerry should receive the same lenient treatment any other citizen deserves when innocently violating these complex and non-intuitive rules." At least give him a chance to explain, Korwin pleads.
Unfortunately, federal authorities from BATFE have been known in the past to be inflexible in their enforcement of even minor technical violations (note that none of these felony violations involve a victim or any sort of harm). With widely circulated evidence, in the form of photographs of Kerry in obvious possession of the firearm, he could find himself subject to the long arm of the law.

More importantly, Korwin says, "Some of these laws are just foolish, putting honest citizens at enormous and unjustified risk, and are so complicated that even a presidential candidate and his staff cannot figure them out."

Sigh...Anyone want to hand this "brain trust" the reins of this country? On the other hand, between his traitorous behavior in front of a Senate sub-committee, plus this law breaking, anyone want to indict him?

But maybe there's a reason. And believe it or not, this is from See BS's Chief political writer, David Paul Kuhn, at http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/09/14/politics/main643438.shtml

"Sen. Ted Kennedy’s former staff members, Mary Beth Cahill, the Kerry campaign manager, and veteran Democratic strategist Bob Shrum are at odds with recent additions who served under President Clinton.

“Here are two groups that have never gotten along and have fought, and it is a lot over money,” says Coehlo. "Because in the Democratic Party the consultants get paid for the creation and the placement of [advertising]. Republicans only pay you for the creation.”

Coelho, a former congressman who served as House majority whip for the Democrats from 1987 to 1989, does not question any of the Kerry staff's sincerity in wanting to unseat President Bush. But his comments highlight a longstanding battle within the Democratic Party for national campaign control. “

In 1988, Dukakis: Shrum is involved. In 1992, Clinton: nothing to do with Shrum. They don’t want Shrum in any way,” Coelho says. “In 1996, they do not want Shrum in any way. In 2000, Gore doesn’t want Clinton people. We go forward, 2004, all of a sudden it’s the Shrum/Kennedy people.”

And we wondered why suddenly Teddy "the submarine" Kennedy was coming to sKerry's aid? I, for one, can hardly WAIT!

Schieffer Taking Preventive Measure?

First thing this morning, I read that there are measures afoot to replace Bob Schieffer from his position as moderator of an upcoming Presidential debate. But within two hours of that report, there comes this http://tinyurl.com/6ntvr story about Mr. Schieffer stating that "see BS" (ya gotta luv the guy who came up with that!) needs to "prove the documents are authentic". HUH? It is fairly obvious to folks without a myopic left position, that there is no possible way to do that! He's quoted as saying, "I think we have to find some way to show our viewers they are not forgeries,'' Schieffer, CBS' chief Washington correspondent and host of the network's "Face the Nation,'' said at a news conference in Sioux City. "I don't know how we're going to do that without violating the confidentiality of sources.'' Come ON, Bob! I saw the tiny "th" and having been a law assistant in the early 70's, I, me, the NON professional debunker, knew immediately that it was a fake. The next thing that stood out to me was the FIVE digit post office box. Bob, there were no post office boxes exceeding 999, three digits, until the 4-digit zip code extension was instituted in 1983! Gimme a break! Do you folks at "see BS" really believe the American people are that stoooopid?

We'll see what "see BS" comes up with next, in the anticipated "statement of clarification" around mid-day. Developing....

NOON: See BS postpones "clarification".

3:30 p.m.: See BS postpones "clarification".

5:00: Can't wait! LOL

It's Hard to Believe They Could Get So Many Lies....

...into just one commercial! The newest ad out by sKerry's campaign has lie after lie after lie...RFK was talking about the wrong people! One of the glaring lies is that President Bush "was grounded". Truth is, his plane was grounded in Viet Nam, which is why he couldn't go! I find it fascinating that they can turn a "half truth" into a blatant lie! Another (my ex was in the Guard, so I know this to be true) is that he didn't take his last physical, because you have "x" number of months prior to your birthday, a) he was discharged prior to his birthday b) he was not required to take the pilot's exam, as he was not flying. Then there was the one about him not showing up. You are required to have 50 dates a year, in most years, he was WAY over the required time requirement, sometimes as much as 4x required. So he had no need to report in Alabama, where he'd transferred to help on a political campaign. Check the records. They're public. Unlike sKerry's!

They keep trying to give us reasons to vote against George W. Bush, because there is not one good reason to vote FOR sKerry! Not ONE! His inept and ridiculous campaign is enough to prove he's not capable of running the country. The same day he announces a multi-billion $$ plan to "reduce the crime rate", the stats are released that our crime rate remains at a 3-year LOW! Everytime he makes a statement, the truth slaps him in the face! Everytime he makes a claim, the numbers come out to show him a liar again! If he can't run his own campaign, how can he run the most powerful nation on earth?

Conversly, President Bush presents clarity, strength of character, humble and sincere intentions for our country. He knows our place in the world, and it is not being subjugated to the corrupt and ineffective United Nations, as sKerry does! We have every reason imaginable to be sure George W. Bush is being sworn in again, in January '05!

Is It Worth the "Face Time"?

It is becoming almost comical, or is it pathetic, to see these Dumocrappy talking heads being interviewed by program hosts on whatever your channel du jour [though I mostly watch C-span or Fox News] when they are asked, hmmm, for instance [I could offer any one of several dozen examples!], when sKerry said, "The difficulties and tragedies we have faced in Iraq show the administration launched the war in the wrong way, at the wrong time, with inadequate planning, insufficient help, and at the extraordinary cost, so far, of $166 billion.", parrotting Howard Dean's stated position in the primaries, after he's forgotten what he himself said immediately thereafter (quoting William Kristol's column of 9/7/04) "On December 16, at Drake University in Iowa, Kerry asserted that "those who doubted whether Iraq or the world would be better off without Saddam Hussein, and those who believe today that we are not safer with his capture, don't have the judgment to be president or the credibility to be elected president." The interviewer asks them what they have to say to this....?Watching these folks, representing sKerry's camp, squirm and try to explain the difference, or "nuance" as sKerry would term them, is like watching a deer in your headlights! Is the "face time" really that important to these egotists? I'd be embarrassed if I had to defend someone with the ever-changing positions exhibited by Senator sKerry. When is he up for re-election, anyway? Could the people of Massachusetts be questioning their choice for the past 20 years?

The book "Unfit for Command" very succinctly describes the Swift Vets' reason for rejoining forces after all these years. They had long ago figured that if the folks in Massachusetts wanted sKerry as their senator, fine. Let them keep him. However as they explain in the book by John E. O'Neill & Jerome R. Corsi, PH.D., "John Kerry's name tossed around as "president" and "commander in chief" summoned many of us from long political slumber - from games with grandchildren or feet by the fire - to render one last service to the nation. That service is the hard task of informing an uninformed America - against the wishes of a media sympathetic to Kerry and his myth - of John Kerry's total unfitness to command our armed forces or lead our nation. We are our own small "band of brothers" resolved to sound the alarm."

The sKerry campaign has gone after these men personally, looking into their lives like a bug under a microscope, but NEVER have they (his handlers) allowed him to answer the Swift Vet charges. He has screamed that it's unfair to talk about his "war record" when that is not at all what is in question. It is his character, his lies, his lack of moral fiber that is at the heart of their activities. He has yet to sign the military's Form 180 that would prove them right or wrong. I don't need to ask why he has refused to do that, do you?

An Open Letter to Shaun

Typical of most liberals, commenter "Shaun" did not give me an e-mail address to respond personally, nor did he/she provide a site on which I might comment. So my only recourse to his/her comments is to address the comments in this manner.

In regards to WMD's. Please, Shaun, show me a statement the President made to state WMD was our reason for invading Iraq. Before you destroy your personal credibility by quoting DNC talking points, let me tell you that you cannot find a statement in any speech from President Bush's pre-Iraq invasion, that would support your contention. If you can find one, I will retract my statement, but they didn't come out of his mouth. We went because of the threat he posed. We knew he had them. As the Kurds. Oh, and BTW, there is plenty of evidence that has been ignored by the likes of Dan Rather, Jennings, Brokejaw (sorry, can't remember his "real" name...;-)) or Comic News Network, aka CNN, and indeed it's in the 9/11 Commission Report. Buy it. It only costs $10.00 Or did you perhaps miss the pictures of the fuselage of the 747 Boeing jet in the Iraqi desert? I know that Blather did. You want me to give credibility to journalists who have thrown their credibility out the window because of their own politics. If you cannot see that, it is your choice. I've watched these people get progressively worse over a 40 year period. They've lost their hold, and they are being challenged for a change, and they do not like it at all. I've seen Blather lie on dozens of occasions over the years, it is about time he is challenged to be credible!

As for the Sudan, just because you do not see activity on your favorite BS networks, it doesn't mean that nothing is being done there. Ask the Iraqi bloggers where they think those WMD's are currently housed. Just because you don't see something doesn't make it real. And I'm not talking about arms embargos.

Oil? Yep. It's what lubricates economy. Nor just ours, but Iraq's. They are using it to rebuild their country. They're paying for governmental needs, for medical (doctors & dentists make 10x what they made under Saddam), for education (teachers make 100x what they made under Saddam) and they use it to rebuild their infrastructure. The people of Iraq own their oil, and they are grateful to Americans. The terrorists know it, Shaun. That's why they keep blowing up pipelines. They do not want Iraq to have control of its future.

And finally, you wrote that Colonel North (ret.) took John Kerry's statement out of context. I do not know how young you are, but we, Ollie and I, lived through that era. We didn't misunderstand what this traitor said, we heard it! In context or out of context, Ollie and his fellow veterans came marching home to barefoot hippies standing in two lines as they got off the bus, and threw feces, urine, vomit and rotten vegetables on our soldiers and Marines because of what sKerry and his pal Jane Fonda said they'd done, when they knew it was a lie! Do you know how that scarred these men? Do you have any idea what that must feel like? They were taught to wear their uniforms proudly, and yet they could no longer appear in public in their uniform without the chance that a passing car's passenger might spit on them, throw something at them, or yell "baby killer" at them! So do not presume to tell me, or Ollie, or any Viet Nam era veteran that they should respect what John Kerry did when he came home. If you want to vote for a man whose picture is hanging in a place of honor in a Hanoi museum as a communist hero, then because you live in a free country, you are free to do that. For obvious reasons, I choose not to do so.

First I was incredulous that such an accident could occure, then, as we continued to watch, the 2nd plane hit. The sensation at that point, from both my husband and myself, was "This cannot be happening!" Then when we found out the full extent of it, and to whom we could look for blame, the numbness I'd been feeling went to overwhelming anger.
What kind of people are these evildoers? How come the Muslims in America are not lamenting against this horror? Why are they showing people in Arab countries dancing and rejoicing? Not ever having felt racist about anyone or anything, and having fought against those who were (including my own family at times) my whole life, I had to marvel at myself for the anger I felt, and the questions that flew into my head when I saw a fellow citizen wearing Muslim headwear. "Do they rejoice with their fellow Muslims, that this has happened?" I knew it was not epidemic, but I still wondered how American Muslims really felt in their hearts.

And I've continued to wonder for the past 3 years. But since I found this, it has allowed healing in my heart to begin; http://worldtribune.com/worldtribune/breaking_12.html
I included the link so you could see for yourself where it came from, but I am going to post it here as well:

We Are So Sorry for 9-11

This September 11 marks the third unforgettable anniversary of the worst mass murder in American history.

After September 11, many in the Muslim world chose denial and hallucination rather than face up to the sad fact that Muslims perpetrated the 9-11 terrorist acts and that we have an enormous problem with extremism and support for terrorism. Many Muslims, including religious leaders, and “intellectuals” blamed 9-11 on a Jewish conspiracy and went as far as fabricating a tale that 4000 Jews did not show up for work in the World Trade Center on 9-11.
Yet others blamed 9-11 on an American right wing conspiracy or the U.S. Government which allegedly wanted an excuse to invade Iraq and “steal” Iraqi oil.

As to apologizing, we will no longer wait for our religious leaders and "intellectuals" to do the right thing. Instead, we will start by apologizing for 9-11 . . .

After numerous admissions of guilt by Bin Laden and numerous corroborating admissions by captured top level Al-Qaida operatives, we wonder, does the Muslim leadership have the dignity and courage to apologize for 9-11?

If not 9-11, will we apologize for the murder of school children in Russia?

If not Russia, will we apologize for the train bombings in Madrid, Spain?

If not Spain, will we apologize for suicide bombings in buses, restaurants and other public places?
If not suicide bombings, will we apologize for the barbaric beheadings of human beings?

If not beheadings, will we apologize for the rape and murder of thousands of innocent people in Darfour?

If not Darfour, will we apologize for the blowing up of two Russian planes by Muslim women?

What will we apologize for?

What will it take for Muslims to realize that those who commit mass murder in the name of Islam are not just a few fringe elements?

What will it take for Muslims to realize that we are facing a crisis that is more deadly than the Aids epidemic?

What will it take for Muslims to realize that there is a large evil movement that is turning what was a peaceful religion into a cult?

Will Muslims wake up before it is too late?
Or will we continue blaming the Jews and an imaginary Jewish conspiracy?
The blaming of all Muslim problems on Jews is a cancer that is destroying Muslim society from within and it must stop.

Muslims must look inward and put a stop to many of our religious leaders who spend most of their sermons teaching hatred, intolerance and violent jihad. We should not be afraid to admit that as Muslims we have a problem with violent extremism. We should not be afraid to admit that so many of our religious leaders belong behind bars and not behind a pulpit.

Only moderate Muslims can challenge and defeat extremist Muslims. We can no longer afford to be silent. If we remain silent to the extremism within our community then we should not expect anyone to listen to us when we complain of stereotyping and discrimination by non-Muslims; we should not be surprised when the world treats all of us as terrorists; we should not be surprised when we are profiled at airports.

Simply put, not only do Muslims need to join the war against terror, we need to take the lead in this war.

As to apologizing, we will no longer wait for our religious leaders and “intellectuals” to do the right thing. Instead, we will start by apologizing for 9-11.

We are so sorry that 3000 people were murdered in our name. We will never forget the sight of people jumping from two of the highest buildings in the world hoping against hope that if they moved their arms fast enough that they may fly and survive a certain death from burning.

We are sorry for blaming 9-11 on a Jewish or right wing conspiracy.

We are so sorry for the murder of more than three hundred school children and adults in Russia.
We are so sorry for the murder of train passengers in Spain.

We are so sorry for all the victims of suicide bombings. We are so sorry for the beheadings, abductions, rapes, violent Jihad and all the atrocities committed by Muslims around the world.

We are so sorry for a religious education that raised killers rather than train people to do good in the world.
We are sorry that we did not take the time to teach our children tolerance and respect for other people.

We are so sorry for not rising up against the dictators who have ruled the Muslim world for decades.

We are so sorry for allowing corruption to spread so fast and so deep in the Muslim world that many of our youth lost hope.

We are so sorry for allowing our religious leaders to relegate women to the status of forth class citizens at best and sub-humans at worse.

We are so sorry.

For more information visit our website at: www.freemuslims.org.

May this bring about the beginning of the healing of the Muslim religion, as well as the hearts and Spirits of Americans. God Bless us one and all in this fight against evil.

Want More Evidence of a Crack-up In Lib Land?

These folks use phony documents that anyone who used a typewriter in the 70's would know was a phony at first glance. The thing I noticed was the tiny "th". At least it was my first tip off! Typewriters didn't come with superscript capability. Then reports surface from the widow of the person said to have authored the reports, disclaiming they came from her husband's hand http://www.drudgereport.com/cbsd1.htm Then, at about the same time, James Clinton-Carville declares that the RNC must have "drugged Zell Miller" for him to give that speech at "their convention".

Follow that with the very same Carville tells one interviewer that when sKerry gets into office, he's going to pull all of the troops home, and use the "$200 billion we save", and use it on education and social programs. This liberal crap from the same Clintonista who tried to make Slick Willie look like a moderate, is now talking like an ultra-lefty! Could it be that Clinton put him up to that, to be sure sKerry never makes it to the White House? You mean, he's not self-destructing fast enough?

In Memoriam

I lost many dear friends to Viet Nam. Some while they were there, and some when they got home and who lost their self-esteem and will to live by the words and deeds of John F. Kerry when he returned to America. So in honor of those beloved childhood friends, I offer the following. Here is a man who is speaking for each of you, alive and dead, who fought honorably in Viet Nam:

"Bring it on, John" by Oliver North, August 27, 2004

"Of course, the president keeps telling people he would never question my service to our country. Instead, he watches as a Republican-funded attackgroup does just that. Well, if he wants to have a debate about our service in Vietnam, here is my answer: 'Bring it on.'" -- Sen. John Kerry"

Dear John,

As usual, you have it wrong. You don't have a beef with President GeorgeBush about your war record. He's been exceedingly generous about yourmilitary service. Your complaint is with the 2.5 million of us who served honorably in a war that ended 29 years ago and which you, not the president, made the centerpiece of this campaign. I talk to a lot of vets, John, and this really isn't about your medals or how you got them. Like you, I have a Silver Star and a Bronze Star. I only have two Purple Hearts, though. I turned down the others so that I could stay with the Marines in my rifle platoon. But I think you might agree with me, though I've never heard you say it, that the officers always got more medals than they earned and the youngsters we led never got as many medals as they deserved.

This really isn't about how early you came home from that war, either, John. There have always been guys in every war who want to go home. There are also lots of guys, like those in my rifle platoon in Vietnam, who did a full13 months in the field. And there are, thankfully, lots of young Americans today in Iraq and Afghanistan who volunteered to return to war because, as one of them told me in Ramadi a few weeks ago, "the job isn't finished."

Nor is this about whether you were in Cambodia on Christmas Eve, 1968. Heck John, people get lost going on vacation. If you got lost, just say so. Your campaign has admitted that you now know that you really weren't in Cambodia that night and that Richard Nixon wasn't really president when you thought he was. Now would be a good time to explain to us how you could have all that bogus stuff "seared" into your memory -- especially since you want to have your fingeron our nation's nuclear trigger.

But that's not really the problem, either. The trouble you're having, John, isn't about your medals or coming home early or getting lost -- or evenRichard Nixon. The issue is what you did to us when you came home, John. When you got home, you co-founded Vietnam Veterans Against the War and wrote"The New Soldier," which denounced those of us who served -- and were still serving -- on the battlefields of a thankless war. Worst of all, John, you then accused me -- and all of us who served in Vietnam -- of committing terrible crimes and atrocities.

On April 22, 1971, under oath, you told the Senate Foreign RelationsCommittee that you had knowledge that American troops "had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomlyshot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the country side of South Vietnam." And you admitted on television that"yes, yes, I committed the same kind of atrocities as thousands of othersoldiers have committed."And for good measure you stated, "(America is) more guilty than any other body, of violations of (the) Geneva Conventions ... the torture of prisoners, the killing of prisoners."Your "antiwar" statements and activities were painful for those of us carrying the scars of Vietnam and trying to move on with our lives. And for those who were still there, it was even more hurtful. But those who suffered the most from what you said and did were the hundreds of American prisoners of war being held by Hanoi.

Here's what some of them endured because of you, John:

Capt. James Warner had already spent four years in Vietnamese custody whenhe was handed a copy of your testimony by his captors. Warner says that forhis captors, your statements "were proof I deserved to be punished." He wasn't released until March 14, 1973.

Maj. Kenneth Cordier, an Air Force pilot who was in Vietnamese custody for2,284 days, says his captors "repeated incessantly" your one-liner about being "the last man to die" for a lost cause. Cordier was released March 4,1973.

Navy Lt. Paul Galanti says your accusations "were as demoralizing assolitary (confinement) ... and a prime reason the war dragged on." He remained in North Vietnamese hands until February 12, 1973.

John, did you think they would forget? When Tim Russert asked about your claim that you and others in Vietnam committed "atrocities," instead of standing by your sworn testimony, you confessed that your words "were a bitover the top." Does that mean you lied under oath? Or does it mean you are a war criminal?

You can't have this one both ways, John. Either way, you're not fit to be a prison guard at Abu Ghraib, much less commander in chief. One last thing, John. In 1988, Jane Fonda said: "I would like to say something .. to men who were in Vietnam, who I hurt, or whose pain I caused to deepen because of things that I said or did. I was trying to help end the killing and the war, but there were times when I was thoughtless and careless about it and I'm ... very sorry that I hurt them. And I want to apologize to them and their families."

Even Jane Fonda apologized. Will you, John?

Service to COUNTRY

A concept with which I was raised. "Service to Country" is the idea, the energy, that motivates our young people in America to join the Armed Services. It is what tells Americans that it's okay to belong to the STRONGEST NATION IN THE WORLD. It is what tells Americans that going to the rescue of nations which have been RAPED, VANDALIZED, SODOMIZED AND UTTERLY TAKEN OVER by the monsters such as those who took 1200 Russian families hostage in Beslan, that this is fundamentally WRONG. Seventeen Time Zones in Russia protested against terrorism! Really? WOW, what a huge country! And yet there were HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of Russians protesting TERRORISM in their country. What is going on in OUR country?

In America, we have a media who is favoring the pitiful few who are saying terrorism is not a threat! What is it that motivates 17 time zones across Russia's vast continent to march against terrorism? And all the while our own country seems willing to forget 9/11/01? What is it that allows our leftists to disregard the horror of that day, and spurs them to anti-war activism? Could it be the likes of Dan Blather and his fellow media, i.e., Katie Couric, et al? Kitty Kelly has been shown to be a "manufacturer of facts" so many times in the past, yet the Today Show is granting this person THREE DAYS this week. Makes one wonder about the "free press" that prefers to conjure up their own version of the facts!

Is the current culture of media in America going to lead us into the oblivion, the vision of what the Islamist fundamentalist's view the world? The Jihadist's vision is given credence? God FORBID!

Observations From Democrat Strongholds

These are two e-mail observations of the two campaigns, posted at The Corner at National Review on-line...I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high, but this could push me over the proverbial edge:

First, from the opposition's experience:

An e-mail from Steubenville, Ohio, hometown of the Catholic University of Steubenville:
John Kerry came to Steubenville yesterday and quickly realized he was in the wrong city. Steubenville is a city where there are 6 Democrats for every 1 Republican, and the Steelworkers unions are alive and active. You would think this was solid John Kerry territory. The mob used to control Steubenville and now the unions think they do. Well, they are wrong. The Kerry campaign first scheduled a visit to Steubenville two weeks ago but "scheduling conflicts" came up at the last minute. Oh, and did I mention that Kerry wanted to use a local gun range as a campaign stop, but the owner turned him down? And that the Fire Department Union President told the Kerry campaign that not only would he not organize the union to support Kerry at the rally, but that he was supporting President Bush! The Kerry campaign took for granted that this area was sown up. Mistake number one. So they rescheduled the campaign trip when Franciscan University was back in session. Mistake number two. Before Kerry arrived there was a huge pro-life march led by Franciscan University students, 500 strong. "You can't be Catholic and pro-abortion", read some of their signs. Students and members of local Catholic parishes were full of energy and FoxNews reported that this was the largest protest against Kerry outside of the Democratic Convention. Just picture 500 pro-lifers marching from their college campus to meet Kerry. Where else but in Steubenville, Ohio! Though the Franciscan University did not organize the event, it is well known for its orthodox Catholic education which encourages students to put their faith into action. These students simply cherish their Catholic faith and could not stand to let Kerry use their faith as a political prop. I am proud of my alma mater. ….The Kerry campaign not only made a mistake in their timing, but they also chose to hold the rally in a public park which should be open to all the public. Mistake number three. The police chief, sheriff, and mayor all agreed with me that protesters and their signs would be allowed inside the Kerry rally site. Freedom of speech is alive and well here in Ohio. The Kerry campaign flipped out! So, now add another 500 local Bush supporters to the Kerry rally. They tried to turn up the music but they could not drown us out. According to the Herald Star (local press), "The crowd, estimated by officials as 3,500 strong, was almost split in half with people for and against the Massachusetts senator." John Kerry must know he has a problem when over 15% of his audience was booing him. We were respectful and did not heckle him - but upon arrival and when he sought our applause he got something he didn't expect. As the press arrived a feisty nine year old little girl began shouting, "We want Bush!", and we all chanted along. The campaign staff was beside themselves. This is history in the making! Even places like Steubenville are not supporting John Kerry. He is in serious trouble. My friends, John Kerry will not be coming back to Steubenville. Kerry was visibly shaken when he received boos from the audience.....

And now a story from OUR side!
"I am a northeast Pennsylvania resident who also happens to work up the road from the stadium where Bush made his first post-convention appearance. As expected, security was tight, traffic was a nightmare, and those of us who had to work had to find ways to get around it. To make it possible I left for work at 5 am this morning. Since we're a bank operations center, I just didn't have the option of saying "another day, time to play hooky." Groggy and tired, I arrived at the location at 5:45 and was amazed to see the traffic already backing up. The poor officers who arrived at 4:30 am to handle a Presidential appearance at 9:15 were smiling and waving us on. The organization as they tried to route those of us who had to get to work and at the same time direct those who were determined to get to the stadium was difficult, impossible at times, but well-done and determined. And I found I was astonished. The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area is a renowned Democratic stronghold, run by a political machine that's been in place for decades. Where did all these Republicans come from? How did they fill every one of the 18,000 seats they could? Why would 18,000 people (and more if they could have) come out in the pre-dawn darkness to hear a speech? Why did students from the University of Scranton arrive at the airport at 12:30 this morning to greet the President and First Lady and show their support? Why did even more crowds see him off at the airport this morning - unable to get to the stadium but needing to cheer him on? Why did the total number of protestors at the stadium, in this Democratic town, number 3 whole people? Even the newspapers seem incredulous. And then it occurred to me. There's a base of support that's farther and wider then realized. That people are quietly supporting Bush, keeping to themselves because they're unwilling to find themselves a part of the vitriolic smear and attack debates launched by those who hate him. That they walk away from political argument because you can't talk to someone who rants, but their silence doesn't mean agreement. "

See, I even made it smaller, to make you think I'm not sure if we're going to get a Bush Landslide! Did it work?

Military Record Didn't Work, Let's Try Jobs

sKerry's new tactic is to holler that the quality and quantity of jobs "created by this president" have not been up to par. What he neglects to mention is that, if indeed they are not, which I greatly doubt, these could be the reasons:

1. Ridiculous and irresponsible regulations your nutcase buddies in PETA, Sierra Club and Green Peace, to name a few, advocate, and you obligingly enacted into law.

2. Unions demanding 6 figure salaries to sit on their fannies doing little or nothing (Dock Workers, for instance), and the inability to fire the lazy, inept, criminal ones, thanks to "union" regulations!

3. Top heavy administrators in every level of government creating regulations and taxes that make it difficult for people to start up their own businesses, or sending their jobs overseas because it's too costly to do business.

4. Lawsuits from the likes of sKerry's running mate that raise the cost of goods and services, and make healthcare costs rise astronomically!

I'll never get over wondering what in the world we are thinking when we allow a bunch of politicians to tell us how to run our businesses, when most of them have never owned their own businesses. We FINALLY have an MBA in the White House, and I want to be sure we keep him there!

From Their Own Mouths!

If y'all are like me, you're sick and tired of hearing sKerry and the Breck Girl say the President lied when he said there were WMD's (wonder if that is in the dictionary yet?) in Iraq. So when I received this in an e-mail, I had to share it with you:

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line." - President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program." - President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face." - Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983." - Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"We urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs." - Letter to President Clint on, signed by Sens. Carl Levin (D-MI), Tom Daschle (D-SD), John Kerry ( D - MA), and others Oct. 9, 1998

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." - Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies." - Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999

"There is no doubt that ... Saddam Hussein has invigorated his weapons programs. Reports indicate that biological, chemical and nuclear programs continue apace and may be back to pre-Gulf War status. In addition, Saddam continues to redefine delivery systems and is doubtless using the cover of a licit missile program to develop longer-range missiles that will threaten the United States and our allies." - Letter to President Bush, Signed by Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL,) and others, December 5, 2001

"We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them." - Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI), Sept. 19, 2002

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country." - Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power." - Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." - Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002

"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons...." - Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), Oct. 3, 2002

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force-- if necessary-- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security." - Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002

"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years ... We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction." - Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002

"He has systematically violated, over the course of the past 11 years, every significant UN resolution that has demanded that he disarm and destroy his chemical and biological weapons, and any nuclear capacity. This he has refused to do." - Rep. Henry Waxman (D, CA), Oct. 10, 2002

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapon stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons." - Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

"We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction." - Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), Dec. 8, 2002

"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation .. And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real." - Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003

And speaking of their lies, apparently there is an anti-Zell Miller commercial circulating. They are trying to undo the damage to sKerry that his monumental speech did at the convention. The commercial shows him saying "George Bush just doesn't get it", and other anti-Bush comments. The only problem is that the comments were made while he was still governor of Georgia, and were said in 1992!!! And he wasn't a senator for years later, yet the captioning below the picture doesn't say "Zell Miller, Governor of Georgia. Nope! It says "Zell Miller, Senator (D-GA). These folks are just amazing! Aaron Margolis posted it all, with links, at Blogs for Bush (I have linked it on the right side of my blog) as a guest blogger. It's worth scrolling down to see it!

Oh, and does anyone remember hearing about the crowd booing when President Bush told them about Clinton being hospitalized? Another lie. This time by the AP! They've since removed the story, since someone more web savvy than me posted the actual sound track from the speech that day. http://homepage.mac.com/mkoldys/bush.mp3 Listen for yourself here.

In truth, the sound from the crowd was more of a sigh, as in "oh dear, that's too bad!" They really hate it when we find out they're lying again! Since sKerry can't get himself elected, they're calling in their media "big guns"! As one Iraqi blogger would say :-P

Anybody tired of being thought of as monumentally stupid? I am!

Finally, a Term to Describe Lib's Attitude Toward Minorities!

For many years I have resented how Dumocraps (in this case, another way of spelling it might more aptly fit; Demoncrats!) treat & mistreat blacks and other minorities, but blacks in particular. But I never had a term for it until the President gave it to me in his acceptance speech in this paragraph:

"We are transforming our schools by raising standards and focusing on results. We are insisting on accountability, empowering parents [Not exactly a demoncrat way of thinking here] and teachers, and making sure that local people are in charge of their schools. By testing every [Notice he didn't say what color] child, we are identifying those who need help and we're providing a record level of funding to get them that help. In northeast Georgia, Gainesville Elementary School is mostly Hispanic and 90 percent poor and this year 90 percent of its students passed state tests in reading and math [see? given the right education, every child can excel!]. The principal expresses the philosophy of his school this way: "We don't focus on what we can't do at this school; we focus on what we can do -- We do whatever it takes to get kids across the finish line." This principal is challenging the soft bigotry of low expectations, and that is the spirit of our education reform, and the commitment of our country: No dejaremos a ningún niño atrás. We will leave no child behind."

[my insertions, obviously!]

Soft bigotry that they aren't as smart as "we" are, soft bigotry assuming they cannot take care of themselves, soft bigotry as to their choices and familial influences. This is what Bill Cosby was saying so eloquently recently, and for which he, as a black man, was able to say (though he was loudly criticized) but should any Republican try to point out to a dumocrap the error of their thinking, and tell them that blacks and hispanics, etc., are just as capable as whites, he is immediately called a RACIST! Hello? Who is the true racist here? Hmmmm? No wonder they do not want us to send our children to private schools, or teach them at home. The public schools are doing such a good job of dumbing down our kids of all colors, and hopefully (as we saw in the typical "protester" in NYC) fool them into thinking that Republican = Bad, and Democrat = Good....without noticing the only visible good one is named Zell Miller!

Two Channels, Different Coverage

Watching C-Span is giving a wholly different perspective from Fox News tonight. On Fox News, former Clintonista Morris's take on the speeches last night didn't capture the hilarity/enthusiasm/intensity of Zell Miller's speech, or the sage advice of VP Cheney. On Fox News later, Laura Bush is talking to Sean Hannity. On C-span, Barbara Bush Sr. introduced a poignant and funny video of her grandchildren. And so it goes. It's important to switch back and forth. If I'd not, I'd have missed an important lesson about the President's past. On C-Span, a Midland, TX man told about the president volunteering, a quarter of a century ago, to be his "campaign manager". As he told the delegates, and I'm paraphrasing, "He traveled around the countryside in Texas with me, a poor black man, to campaign with me. Obviously he's a better candidate than he was a campaign manager, since I lost that campaign."

Wow, if there ever was a speech that clarified what his plans are, how he'll achieve those plans, the President defined just such a speech! He made us laugh, he made us cry with him, and he made us proud!

I feel a Landslide coming ON!

WOW, did Zell Miller hand the dumocraps their heads on a platter tonight! The Democrat party I grew up with was represented by this man of honor, this humble man from Georgia, tonight at the RNC's Convention! God Bless him for standing up to the riff raff that has become that once great party! As the Marines will tell you, "there ain't no such thing as an EX-Marine!" and Zell Miller proved them correct! What a speech!

The C-Span coverage is unsurpassed in their coverage of the convention in NYC, and we can be thankful that they are so unbiased....even Fox News coverage pales in comparison! Anyone care to notice the diversity represented there? Every color in the rainbow of mankind! And everyone of them so excited about the President!!!

Will America turn its well being over to the United Nations? I think NOT! And Dick Cheney, remember him? He's the man that sold his interests in the much maligned Halliburton Corp., and donated NINE MILLION DOLLARS to charity! Anyone caring to do their homework can go seek the amount of money that sKerry had donated in the past 20 years....not to mention his voting record!

When sKerry loses the election, there will be those who will say that the President's win was "bogus" due to the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, but the truth really lies in the sKerry's character, or lack thereof, as demonstrated by the men who served honorably with him. The ensuing "challenges" will hold no water in the minds and hearts of Americans!

I, for one, will be at my local polling place, to be sure that there are no "outside influences" from the threats they are posing against our votes and voting places! sKerry is NOT going to claim this one from any courtroom. The landslide will be so huge they cannot argue the outcome!

FOUR MORE YEARS, GEORGE W. BUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
