Weekend Observations

There's just a couple of things I've had time to think about, on this very busy weekend. I've been so occupied with the charity function of my women's club that I've not had the time to consider much of anything for posting on the blog. The event is now behind me, so some mental meanderings are creeping into my consciousness.

One of those brain sparks is to reflect on the refrain we hear from the left that is so easily put to the test by our milbloggers, i.e., "the only people who volunteer for the military are", in their estimation, somehow mentally deficient. There are any number of military bloggers, many of whom I have spotlighted here, who put that to the category of just another of their ridiculous lies. In that light, I found a new one today. As an English prose student, I found this to be a remarkable piece of writing;

"Some people come into your life like a leaf settling onto a pond, their arrival causing nary a ripple. Others hurtle in like a stone falling from a high cliff, their entrance marked by a riot of spray and a corona of liquid motion. But after their explosive entrance these too quickly fade, the circlet of energy disappearing as its kinetic seed settles to the bottom. And then there are people who pass through your life like a smooth river rock skipping across the surface. Their swift trajectory doesn’t allow them to settle into the chill depths of being, but their dance between the elements of air and water momentarily suspends the boundaries between all things. And shows you, if only for a brilliant moment, that all things are possible."

"Profound" is the first word that comes to mind. The fact that he's a member of America's finest, a member of our military, is another way of pointing out the utter lack of logic and clarity from the dumocraps! The intellect of our military is mind-boggling, and anyone who does not realize it, is either a partisan with blinders on, or a mental midget!

Another observation, as we see this last weekend's movie-going percentages go to another new low, 21% of last year's weekend movie audience, I notice tonight a preview for an up coming release of a "war movie". Interestingly, it does not show up on this preview list. Could it be that Hollyweird is getting a hint as to the failure of their ridiculous remakes with the loud mouthes of the anti-war (anti-America) propaganda? We'll see when the movie comes out. I frankly do not trust them anymore!

Cheney & The Crone

Vice President Cheney, are you sure you won't run for President? You would be doing future presidents and press secretaries a great
service.

"Veteran wire reporter Helen Thomas is vowing to 'kill herself' if Dick Cheney announces he is running for president."

This ancient hag calls anything from the administration "lies", despite any proof to the contrary, including the proof presented in the 9/11 commission report. After 8 years of throwing softballs at a certified liar during the Clinton administration, she would not know a lie if it hit her in the face.

"The day Dick Cheney is going to run for president, I'll kill myself," she told the HILL. "All we need is one more liar."

Was there ever such an evil looking face? Was there ever a voice that sounded more like an escapee from hell? It's like fingernails on a blackboard.

More Laughs from the Left

It seems the ever vigilant left has made a
frightening discovery. Apparently, during Ronald Reagan's administration, a young lawyer in the administration was a conservative! EEEK! How'd that happen? Now President Bush wants him to be the next Supreme Court justice. Does anyone remember any such hue and cry at Clinton's nomination of Ruth Bader-Ginzburg, the former ACLU attorney who believed that a case could be made that the Constitution made marriage illegal?

The more they lose, the more looney they become. It is really becoming quite fun to watch. From threatening suicide to showing their true colors as to their use of the court, they are becoming more and more transparent! Get out the straight-jackets, folks we may have to have them handy November 3, 2006, so they don't hurt themselves.

News from Iraq

Since I've been on this Fonda Rant, I found myself reflecting on how I have changed and grown in wisdom since the Viet Nam era, and I wondered at the lack of same from Hanoi Jane. Since she never bothered to look into who our enemy was in Viet Nam, I would have expected her to do similar growth in wisdom, and check out Iraq before deciding to go on the anti-war path. Apparently that hasn't occured to her. Before most of us decide to support a cause, logic would dictate that we learn about it.

So in the interest of fairness, let's find out what it is we are doing in Iraq that our girl Jane is against: [this, an e-mail, from an officer who volunteered for Iraq, posted by John McCrary, another soldier in S. Korea]

"We had a little down time before our meeting with the Kurdistan Minister of the Interior, so our interpreter took us to the site of the former Ba’athist police HQs and prison, which is being turned into the Kurdish version of a holocaust museum. There are over 182,000 Kurds who just “disappeared” when Sadam purged the border areas, and that does not include the 5000 killed in the chemical attack on Halabja or the other atrocities committed over the past three decades. It was good for the young Soldiers (and some of us old Soldiers) to see first hand why we are here, and why we are helping the Iraqis to fight the insurgents.

I also had a chance to tour the prison part of Abu Ghraib while I was there working some of the issues with our detention facility. Sadam executed 4000 there in AUG 04 to reduce the overpopulation, and estimates run as high as over 300,000 executions at Abu during his regime. The hooks they used to hang prisoners from during questioning are still in the ceilings."

Crowded prisons? Execute a few to free up space. Good plan, right Jane? The terrorism that has been growing in the world for 4 decades is being confronted in Iraq, Jane. The Iraqis may not like that their country is now the concentrated battleground, but they have the right to protest against it. They didn't have that when Saddam was in power, Jane. You might want to know what their government's leadership think of your "anti-war" stance:

"Iraqi Prime Minister Dr. Ibrahiem Aljaafary said in a speech regarding this incident: “We will not sway from our path and we will not kneel to those who commit these crimes.” He added, ”We are confident that all nations of this world stand beside us, because to day terrorism does not only affect us Iraqis but the whole world. We Iraqis have the honor of being in the front line in the fight against terrorism." [Hat Tip: The Redhunter]

Do you think he would welcome your support of the anti-war movement, Jane? I don't personally care if you support this conflict or not, Jane. It cannot hurt our troops, even get our people killed, as you did after your visit to the Hanoi Hilton. This time we're on to you, Fonda. You disgraced yourself once, and now you are doing it again. We will remember this one too!

Jane Fonda Update

Though snopes.com debunks the following story, I am inclined to believe the Blue Knights Bulletin Board's version:

"From 1983-85, USAF Col. Larry Carrigan was the 47FW/DO (F-4Es). He spent 6 years in the "Hilton"-the first three of which he was "missing in action". His wife lived on faith that he was still alive. His group, too, got the cleaned/fed/clothed routine in preparation for a "peace delegation" visit. They, however, had time and devised a plan to get word to the world that they still survived. Each man secreted a tiny piece of paper, with his SSN on it, in the palm of his hand. When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each man's hand and asking little encouraging snippets like: "Aren't you sorry you bombed babies?" and "Are you grateful for the humane treatment from your benevolent captors?" Believing this HAD to be an act, they each palmed her their sliver of paper. She took them all without missing a beat. At the end of the line and once the camera stopped rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs, she turned to the officer in charge...and handed him the little pile. Three men died from the subsequent beatings. Col. Carrigan was almost number four."

That two utterly despicable human beings, Jane Fonda & John Kerry are still breathing free in this United States of America, fries me beyond belief! The death and suffering my friends and others of my generation underwent at the hands of these two and they are not in jail for treason, is beyond belief! I'll write again just as soon as my blood pressure subsides and I stop shaking in fury.

Open Letter To Hanoi Jane

It would appear that you may soon have a new name, Ms. Fonda. Surprise! Surprise! You're joining the "appease" movement.

"Prompted by a question from the audience, Fonda said war veterans that she has met on a nationwide book tour have encouraged her to break her silence on the Iraq war.

"I've decided I'm coming out," she said.

Hundreds of people in the audience cheered loudly when Fonda announced her intentions to join the anti-Iraq war movement."

They say you are going on a bus run by vegetable oil instead of diesel. The only difference between the 60's and 70's and now, Jane, is the fuel running your bus.

"I have not taken a stand on any war since Vietnam," she said. "I carry a lot of baggage from that."

Ya think, Janey baby? (Ouch, tongue is beginning to hurt!) Baggage like having betrayed our POW's ? That kind of baggage? If most of us in my generation had our way, you would be sitting in Leavenworth for a lifetime of regret for being a traitor to your country. But alas, life is not always fair.

"Fonda incited controversy in July 1972 when she was photographed sitting on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun while on a tour of the country to drum up support to end the war."

Aiding and abetting the enemy, Hanoi Jane, is usually known as a traitorous act.

It should be okay for you to go to Baghdad, though. The Iraqi government and most of its people are our allies, so I would encourage a trip there as soon as possible. Your bus probably would not attract too much attention. And if you make a trip to Baghdad...then we can call you Baghdad Jane. Wouldn't it be nice to have a new nickname?

Your welcome and treatment may be a bit different, though. You know the difference, Jane? You will be received with disdain and resentment by the ordinary Iraqi, or you might be kidnapped, and find your well-maintained head separated from your well-exercised body by those who detest your way of life. Barberella springs to mind.....chuckle chuckle....make sure to take at least the film trailer for them to see.

You know, I hate to even call you "Fonda". You've written that your father was not the greatest father in the world, and like Shrillary Rodham, you became his antithesis. Your father was a patriot, but not a hands-on dad like Shrillary's? The reality of it, Ms. Fonda, is that not many dads from that era, were very hands on. The only thing of value to come out of the feminist movement was for us to teach our sons to be better fathers. That is a creative response. The response that you and Hillary Rodham gave; in your case to be a traitor, and hers to become a closet socialist, to spite your fathers beloved country, are NOT creative responses. In both of your cases, the response brought down the country that your fathers revered.

So go ahead, "Hanoi" Jane Fonda, go on your bus tour again. But I suggest you be aware. There are many differences between then and now. The difference in America now, Jane, is greater than you can imagine. I suggest you remain in the parenthesis states, though not all places there will receive you well either. Have you seen a county by county map of election results? I have one of those shirts, and so does my hubby. We like to wear them to remind people that not even our coasts are entirely Democrat anymore!

This time we will not allow our troops to be mistreated by the likes of you, as they maltreated my friends when they returned from Viet Nam. I'm not the only one who remembers:

"What has not become hazy is the treatment I got on my return home. I received what I call my "hardened hearts".

The first was handed to me in the Seattle Airport where, in uniform; I was waved over by a beautiful young woman. After a year away from home my heart was fluttering, until she called me a "baby killer". I was hurt but I shrugged it off.

My next award occurred when I was outside walking down a street trying to hail a taxi. An "Easy Rider" Peter Fonda look-alike on a Harley made a corner. I looked at him with an admiration of the free spirit he appeared to exemplify. He flipped me off and spewed expletives in my direction (from a safe distance). At this point I felt a jolt of anger, and my heart began to ossify.

My last hardened heart, one of cold steel, came in April of 1971 when John "turncoat" Kerry testified that my fellow soldiers and I were war criminals committing atrocities on a daily basis."

Our returning troops have not been, nor will they be treated that way!

Didn't you get that your side is a dying breed when your pal John sKerry was defeated last November? It has taken us a few decades to wake up to you folks, but we are gaining ground daily, everytime one of you opens your pie hole. Or did you not realize your Democrap pals have been losing seats in the House and Senate since your donkey pals ruled both houses back 30-40 years ago?

Oh, by the way Jane. If you choose to drive through Texas, I hope you are not expecting a warm welcome anywhere but Austin. I don't live far from Austin though. Maybe I'll pop up and show you my shirt!

Prayers Needed

I have always been a fan of spy thrillers, but this is a thriller I'm reluctant to share. It is called "fear mongering" in some quarters, so be aware! The real reason I'm sharing it is to ask that we all pray for the Almighty to reveal the whereabouts;

"According to captured al-Qaida leaders and documents, bin Laden's terrorist network has a plan called "American Hiroshima" involving the multiple detonation of nuclear weapons already smuggled into the U.S. "

Frightening? No, TERRIFYING. However, it is not hopeless. I remember what happened when our troops were on the march to Baghdad and were bogged down and had to stop due to a blinding sand storm. [the first cry of "quagmire" was heard from the left]. When the troops could again see the road ahead, what they saw was dozens of IED's that had been revealed by the sand storm that they would have traversed had they not been stopped by it. Who had a Hand in that? You got it! (If you didn't, you're a hopeless athiest.) Then there is this story from my friend Michael Yon:

"The temperature down there was at least 20 degrees beyond any measure of hot. The air was filthy with dust, darkness, and the menace that wafted like a stench off all the bombs, bombs, and more bombs. I was sitting on bombs and missiles that I could not identify--there was not enough floor cleared for three men to stand. There were mortar rounds, some with fuses, some without. Some fuses had no safety pins. Some rounds had charges on the fins. There were surface-to-air missiles, RPGs, and strange munitions of various sorts. The danger was severe, but with this much explosives, it wouldn’t matter if you were in the hole or a hundred yards away; if this thing blows, game over."

Not only had our soldiers found this huge cache in Mosul, but they were obviously protected as they inspected it. There are tiny miracles happening everyday world wide, but the miracles happening in Iraq & Afghanistan shows not only the supreme training of our troops, but the hand of God at work. Add your voice in prayer to not only protect our protectors abroad, but especially here at home.

Post Note: To my athiest reader, don't bother trying to "educate" me. I have felt the power of God in my life. There is nothing anyone can tell me to negate the relationship I have with the Almighty.

Have You Met Mychal?

Now this is a man who must be one who sees a glass as being half full. I got a letter from Mr. Massie recently. It was requesting funds to support Dr. Condoleezza (2 "z's?) Rice, via Project 21. With my donation, I would be sending a "Note of Support"

"To Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice:

Congratulations on your historic appointment! Please don't give up or get discouraged in the face of bitter and mean-spirited criticism from liberal politicians and radical social leaders. [NOTE: She's too strong to let that happen, though she may have her moments.]

You have my support, as well as the support of countless other patriotic and concerned Americans. We are grateful for all you have done to keep America safe as our National Security Advisor.

Thank you for all of your hard work,
God bless you and God bless President Bush.

Sincerely,_______________________________"

Now, I can wholeheartedly agree with the sentiments, but when someone asks me for money for someone who has repeatedly stated she WILL NOT run, I am understandably reluctant to send money. Besides, I need to do more homework on this man. He is apparently a prolific writer for WorldNetDaily News. He writes this on Judicial appointments:

"It remains unclear to me whether those spinning forth with the primal cry "President Bush must appoint replacement justices to the Supreme Court that will unite the country" are being purposefully misleading; are woefully ignorant of Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution or both."

He points out one of the most ludicrous claims the left is making these days! Since when does the only non-partisan (ahem, it was meant to be) arm of the government exist to bring the country together?

It highlights one of the propaganda points the donks like to point to, as though they've actually read the Constitution! Since the word "privacy" does not appear in the Constitution, yet "a woman's privacy" is their most oft used excuse for Roe v. Wade, I'm pretty sure they have not read it. Too bad it is not taught in schools, or any school child could correct them on that point.

Thank you, Mr. Massie. I think we could use many more patriots like you. Let me know when Dr. Rice is willing to run.

"I'm Protecting You, Like It Or Not"

That is what the T-shirt I "won" from the radio station in Corpus Christi when we went to get our RV from the island. The local talk radio guy had announced that he has designed a shirt with President Bush pointing, with the words "I'm protecting you, like it or not!" I called and told him, he should market it, he could retire on the profits! [I'll be an entrepreneurial trainer 'till the day I die.] He was amused about the idea, and promised me the first one from the silk screener. I hope I get it before I go to California! tee hee

I, for one, am supremely grateful to God that he gave us this man, George W. Bush, at this time in history. I know he sounds altogether too PC, but I double dern guarantee you, he's not ACTING PC! This man is doing what is required by a LEADER! My offer of proof? London comes to mind.

"Speaking 15 days after bombers killed over 50 people in London and a day after a series of failed attacks on the city's transport network, Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed said the British capital should expect more violence.

"What happened yesterday confirmed that as long as the cause and the root problem is still there ... we will see the same effect we saw on July 7," Bakri said.

"If the cause is still there the effect will happen again and again," he said, adding he had no information about future attacks or contacts with people planning to carry out attacks.

Bakri, a Syrian-born cleric who has been vilified in Britain since 2001 when he praised the September 11 hijackers, said he did not believe the bombings and attempted attacks on London were carried out by British Muslims."

His "cause"? To make the Muslim flag fly over every country of the world. And the worst offender for keeping that flag from flying? The United States of America. She keeps spreading democracy, the worst enemy of Islamofacism.

It is just to damn bad that our president, and the rest of our leaders are not saying we are in a holy war. Like it or not, that is exactly what we are fighting according to the jihadists' perspective!

"Abu Qatada: "The role of mujahedeen is dictated by what the prophet said. Whoever fights to make the word of God supreme, then it is for the sake of God. Therefore, if the jihad is to make the word of God supreme, this is what we call Islamic jihad."

CBC's Terence McKenna: "Do you incite hatred against the U.S.?"

Qatada: "No doubt, if anybody asks me, 'Is the American, or are the Americans the enemy of our peoples?' my answer would be, 'Yes, they are the enemy.'"

We are fighting for our way of life, and they are fighting to take it away from us! We have a president who sees the reality of the situation, and is acting accordingly. Like it or not.

Poor Harry!

Harry Reid and pals scolded reporters for abandoning the constant ridiculous reporting of the non-story about Karl Rove, in favor of the President's announcement of a judicial candidate. He must be utterly frustrated today! There has been 4 more terrorist explosions in London.

"No one was reported injured in the blasts that caused major disruption and shook the nerves of an already jittery city.

Witnesses said they had seen what could have been a would-be bomber running away after dropping a rucksack on one of the trains.

"We all got off on the platform and the guy just ran and started running up the escalator," one witness who gave her name as Andrea told the BBC.

"Everyone was screaming for someone to stop him. He ran past me ... and he ran out of the station. In fact he left a bag on the train," she said."

Poor Harry. How will he ever get rid of our "evil genius" will all these distractions?

Message To The British People

Our prayers go out to you, brave Londoners. I watch your remarkable nonplussed and calm response to the evil that seems to have gripped your city. You should really get together to demand a law similar to our Patriot Act. Your quick observations of the terrorists from carrying out the carnage of July 7th. We admire you all. Most of us in America realize that our Patriot Act is part of why we've had no more attacks since September 11, 2001, (11 September 2001). Please support your Tony Blair in enacting some similar law. It should be obvious by now that you are desperately in need of it.

Speaking of Mr. Blair, I heard him being questioned by your press this morning. One ridiculous female reporter had the temerity...actually it is stupidity...to ask if he thought he should take the responsibility? It's almost a relief to hear we Americans are not the only nation to harbor such moronic reporters. How nice it would be if, just once, for either President Bush, or PM Blair to respond, "No! Are you?" Now there would be some culpability in that question! Our MSM, or liberal media as I prefer to call them, does have some responsibility. They constantly sound like cheer leader for the evil doers, and sound as though they would prefer that the terrorists win this war. Do they not realize that they would be among the first to die at the hands of these Islamofacists?

He Did It Again!

That's right! President Bush outsmarted the donks again! The choice of Judge John Roberts was a stroke of genius, and has temporarily flumoxed the left. Even the Kos was nearly silent on it at first. Other lefty bloggers didn't even react as first. It took them awhile to react, and then the only thread I can find is abortion fear. Or should I call it fear of losing their sacred cow, Roe v. Wade. Chuckles Schumer even expressed amazement as to why the GOP folks seem thrilled. Obviously he doesn't understand who Judge Roberts really is! That is a very good thing.

NARAL is already calling him a "stealth candidate". The letter they want supporters to sign says he will work to overthrow their icon Roe v. Wade. When are these morons going to learn, if they want legal abortion, all they need to do is sponsor a bill in their state and get it passed....OH, Right. I forgot. Most Americans are anti-abortion, and they probably couldn't get it passed! sigh

NARAL is not alone in suggesting Judge Thomas is a "stealth candidate", but this time it is from Ann Coulter. Her July 20th post tells us her attitude about Judge Roberts' nomination;

"So all we know about him for sure is that he can't dance and he probably doesn't know who Jay-Z is. Other than that, he is a blank slate. Tabula rasa. Big zippo. Nada. Oh, yeah...we also know he's argued cases before the supreme court. big deal; so has Larry Flynt's attorney.

But unfortunately, other than that that, we don’t know much about John Roberts. Stealth nominees have never turned out to be a pleasant surprise for conservatives. Never. Not ever. "

Both sides chiming in pro and con, and we get a strict originalist. Maybe Laura Ingraham should call her good friend Ann, and explain about John Roberts. Laura has known him for years. As a former intern for Clarence Thomas, I tend to trust her judgement.

Put on your seat belts, folks, we're in for a bumpy ride.

Cannot Decide!

What do I write about? After rescuing our RV from the Wrath of Emily, being away from the computer provided more things to write about than I can decide. What to do...what to DO!? I know! I'll write about the ones that annoyed or excited my interest the most. And since the President just announced that he will announce his choice to replace O'Connor tonight at 9:00 EST, one of my choice was to ask y'all if you are prepared for the next few weeks of wrankling and wrangling in D.C.?

Yep, they have already started! Edith Clement seems to be the pundit's favorite, though it's far from a sure thing, as they have spoken with most, if not all, the members of the 5th circuit.

"On one occasion, O'Connor, writing for the majority, accused the lower court of applying its own "restrictive gloss" to the standard set by the Supreme Court for establishing a condemned convict's retardation. In another recent capital case, the Supreme Court reversed the 5th Circuit 6 to 3, stating that the appeals court was wrong not to order a new trial in the face of strong evidence that prosecutors deliberately excluded blacks from the jury. The majority opinion, by Justice David H. Souter, said the 5th Circuit decision was a "dismissive and strained interpretation" of how the Supreme Court had previously ruled."

That proves to me that they would be a just and appropriate group to begin filling up the cracks and holes in a court which has gone from following law, to creating it. Laws are made by legislators, and courts were never intended to interpret any law voted by a state's congress or populace.

And Another Thing!

As I posted recently, there seems to be a dearth of suicide bombers for our enemies to throw at us, and they are resorting to subterfuge and trickery:

"In the IRA's case, however, the suicide bomber was involuntary. They took a hostage, packed him with explosives, drove him to a British Army checkpoint, and threatened to murder his family unless he approached the soldiers. The poor man tried to warn the soldiers -- God rest his brave soul -- as he drew near and was blown up. Now, the fascinating theory has emerged in British intelligence circles that the four young Muslim terrorists may have been ''suicide'' bombers of the same involuntary kind.

Here is the evidence: They bought return railway tickets. Their bombs were not strapped to their bodies but carried in knapsacks as if to be left behind on the trains. None of them was heard to shout the customary ''Allah Akhbar'' before the bombs exploded. Unusually for suicide bombers, they left identification on their bodies. And surveillance videotapes show them laughing and joking casually -- rather than grimly determined or prayerful -- as they caught the Underground train.

These little pieces of circumstantial evidence suggest the possibility the bombers were duped. Maybe they were told by their controllers that the bombs were timed to go off five minutes after being detonated rather than immediately. It would not be the first time that al-Qaida had deceived its devotees: Osama bin Laden revealed that not all the 9/11 hijackers were aware that the planes were to be flown into buildings. And the bombers' ''suicide'' would protect the terrorist network against the chance that they might be caught and persuaded to talk."

On the upside, we are forewarned about tactics. Advice to the parents of young Muslims: Be aware of who your kids are hanging out with, as they may be used the way these young men were apparently (perhaps?) being used. I heard many family members' reaction and stupification to learning their family member was one of the terrorists. It's heart breaking to see families weeping, when some parental awareness could perhaps have prevented their children from falling prey to evil

Finally!

Notice I did not call them bombers, BBC? They are TERRORISTS, not B-17s. As a non-military expert, I cannot say with all certainty, but the B-17s, or something akin to them, were the ones that saved your butts in World War II. [at my age, the memory cannot always be counted upon for fine details, but I went to school when they still taught history.] The English people remember, but you, like the New York & Los Angeles Times, would attempt to subtley blame America every chance you get, BBC, a.k.a. Liberal Media!

On that note, to that media segment: The people have other ways to get their news, nowadays. So for the afore mentioned dinosaurs, your day has come, and we have your number!

UPDATE: Judge John Roberts is the nominee....and hold on to your hat, Chuckles Schumer, who voted against him the last time around, made sure to note in his response following the announcement that Judge Roberts must, "....in the coming months....". Any doubt what we can face now? MONTHS!!!? Dig in those spurs, Republicans, and hold on to your hats.

[It's such fun using cowboy-speak to rile the left, don't you think?] Yeee HAWWWWW!

A New Trend?

It's headlines like this "Terrorism Losing Appeal", and "Prayer meeting held for Mumbai blast victims" that make me think the tides are turning. This prayer meeting's attendants said,

"One month after the blast at the Gateway of India in south Mumbai, some people gathered at the spot for a prayer meeting in memory of the innocents who lost their lives and to commiserate with those injured in the incident.

They were carrying banners which said: Terrorist Are Killers They Have No Religion, Hang All Terrorists, Hindu-Muslim bhai bhai atankwadiyo ki karo pitai (Hindus and Muslims are brothers, punish terrorists)."

Terrorism losing it's appeal? Apparently:

"Osama bin Laden's standing has dropped significantly in some pivotal Muslim countries, while support for suicide bombings and other acts of violence has "declined dramatically," according to a new survey released yesterday.

Predominantly Muslim populations in a sampling of six North African, Middle Eastern and Asian countries share to a "considerable degree" Western concerns about Islamic extremism, according to the poll by the Pew Global Attitudes Project, conducted by the Pew Research Center, a nonpartisan and nonprofit organization."

That last story was written in the ultra-left wing Washington Post, by Robin Wright, Sean Penn's wife, add that to the astounding facts! What could it mean?

Could this be the reason?

"Twelve of the dead were 13 or younger and six were between 14 and 17, said police Lt. Mohammed Jassim Jabr. Among the wounded was 4-day-old Miriam Jabber, cut slightly by flying glass and debris.

"There were some American troops blocking the highway when a U.S. Humvee came near a gathering of children", said Karim Shukir, 42. The troops began handing out candy and smiley-face key chains.

"Suddenly, a speeding car bomb...struck both the Humvee and the children", Shukir said."

What kind of evil troll would target children to kill 3 soldiers?

As Iraq The Model has mentioned in several posts over recent months, within minutes of an attack, people are on the phone to various authorities to report anything they saw, anything they noticed, and who the perpetrators might be. With only 4 of a total 15-20 territories in Iraq being in upheavel, and the knowledge that the rest of the provinces are prosperous and peaceful places to live, the tide may be turning away from "insurgents" to the proper term; terrorists!

May Allah bless the new Iraq. Iraqis and President Bush may be helping to force a renaissance for the Muslim religion. Too bad theirs came ten centuries later than Christianity's!

He Never Met a Camera He Didn't Like!

I haven't had much time to blog today, but had to bring this to your attention! A couple of observations on this story and photo. First, McCain flashing the thumbs up is fine and dandy. What struck me is the "Support Our Troops" red bracelet band was, I have no doubt, a "photo-op" ploy.

The 2nd was his participation in a T & A movie;

"Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz. -- who once held hearings chastising Hollywood studios for producing R- rated films and marketing them to teens -- is now playing a part in one! Opening this weekend, WEDDING CRASHERS, a movie packed with raunchy moments and bare-breasted beauties bedding down with the guys. And Senator John McCain!"

Why, you may ask?

"McCain joked on Tuesday, "Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson and me - we're all pretty much starring roles." McCain said he couldn't resist a chance to appear in a Hollywood movie because "it impresses my kids."

Bunk, Senator McCain, it's "face time". We know that is your favorite pastime, Senator.

Shades of Shrillary

This is almost a
patentable line,

"One last suggestion from Fazio to his liberal MOVEON party-goers: “Oh, because a photographer will be here, might I suggest we put away our ‘Bush is a Liar’ t-shirts. Let's look like they do.”

Let's look like they do, eh? Shades of Shrillary's mentor,
Saul Alinsky! In Barbara Olson's book, "Hell To Pay", she states the obvious quote, the "let's look like they do".

"To understand Hillary, and much of her subsequent life, it is important to learn the philosophy and tactics of the mentor who has had more apparent influence on her than any other."

And here comes that patentable quote:

"The trick, Alinsky suggests, is taking on whatever protective coloration one needs to win the trust of one's charges."

When I saw Shrillary show up on a nationwide news-mag's cover (research it for yourself!), in the pink suit [anathema to her personality] and chunky pearls, a la Barbara Bush, my first thought was "Alinsky's influence"!

It's just a matter of time before the Donks bring into the fray someone who attempts to be "Gop-like", and is registered as a Republican candidate. However, in reality, there will be those who would have us believe they are "not liberal", while in reality are a "Donk in disguise", in the Saul Alinski mode.

We must be on our guard! We must thoroughly investigate the so-called GOP candidate to be sure they are who they represent themselves to be! With the Alinsky philosophy, we need to be on guard! Be vigilant, my friends! Very vigilant!

Making Democrats Nervous?

I'll bet this trend is making them very nervous! From USAToday;

"More black Republicans are running for office in Georgia this year than ever before, and black candidates in other Southern states are also finding that declaring for the GOP is more accepted than it was just a few years ago."

That report includes a gentleman by the name of Herman Cain who will be running for Zell Miller's vacated senate seat. Put me on your list donor list, Mr. Cain.

How about another candidate? This one appears to be a shoe-in:

"In Georgia, a record 14 black Republican candidates are seeking legislative seats. Among them is Willie Talton, who is running unopposed for the House and plans to take office in January as the first black Republican lawmaker in the Georgia Legislature since Reconstruction. "

That should draw some attention! One of my favorite future candidate for Maxine Waters' seat is Rusten Currie. I can hardly wait until he comes home to challenge her, and I pray every day that he comes home safe from Iraq. You only need to read one post to realize this extremely bright young milblogger will make a far brighter star in Congress than Maxine! Take a look at his photo gallery. He and his wife are a beautiful couple!

Have you seen this "African-American" site? They have a round-up of black Republican candidates:

"There are at least four African Americans running or considering running for such offices in 2006:

Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell wants to move up to governor.

The Rev. Keith Butler, a former Detroit councilman, has declared his candidacy for the U.S. Senate from Michigan.

Maryland Lt. Gov. Mike Steele may seek an open U.S. Senate seat.

Football Hall of Famer Lynn Swann is considering a challenge to Gov. Rendell. ...
[H]ere's why it's worth noting now: They're all Republicans. ... "

Two of my personal favorites are Myrah Kirkwood & Vernon Robinson, both of whom were barely defeated in '04. I donated to both candidates' campaigns.

Mr. Robinson was running for a Congressional seat in North Carolina. Even though he was running in a GOP primary race, the donkey braying Al Sharpton came south to campaign against him! He's got a great sense of humor. He laughed about them as having complaining he'd "fathered children with a black woman", saying actually it was THREE children, and she's my WIFE!

Myrah Kirkwood is currently running for Chairman of the Michigan Republican Party. She was defeated for a congressional seat after suffering horrid treatment by Democrats in her district. She is a former Detroit police officer. Myrah, I wish you luck in your bid for chair, but would prefer to see you run for a federal seat in either the House or Senate!

Any black candidate will have to suffer slander, libel, and just plain meaness from the left, out of the donks' fear of losing more of the black vote to the GOP! Something tells me it will be easier for black candidates after the '06 election!

The Left Says Islamists Created From "Poverty"

Balderdash! What a load of barnyard dirt! Yet here's what they say,

"A graphic picture of Muslim deprivation also emerges from the studies done in recent years by the National Council of Applied Economic Research. The findings have been summed up in two sentences: "Muslims in India have a poor human development status. Widespread illiteracy, low income, irregular employment - implying thereby a high incidence of poverty is all pervasive among the Muslims.

"Muslims, in the words of one analyst, "suffer double discrimination, by virtue of being Muslim and poor". As a result they are under-represented in the political, administrative and security structures of the state. Their share of the largesse of the state in terms of bank loans, educational facilities and so on has been quantified and makes depressing reading. In the light of this experience of half a century, it has revived interest in the Constituent Assembly debates on the subject."

Okay, folks. Let's get real about this. Every war, from Viet Nam to Afghanistan, to Iraq has been blamed on poverty by the left. Of course there are some poor folks, Lefties, but they are not the ones we are/were fighting:

"AL-QAEDA is secretly recruiting affluent, middle-class Muslims in British universities and colleges to carry out terrorist attacks in this country, leaked Whitehall documents reveal.

A network of “extremist recruiters” is circulating on campuses targeting people with “technical and professional qualifications”, particularly engineering and IT degrees. "

Did you forget the family Osama bin Laden came from? They are multi-billionaires, people! His father, who disowned him, is the richest man in Saudi Arabia who is not of the Saud family. His brother, and some siblings have kept him well supplied with cash, however.

And must I remind you mental midgets of John Walker Lindh? He is from a well-to-do family. He seemed to be a normal teen, until:

"It was “The Autobiography of Malcolm X” that changed John Walker’s life. After reading the book in 1997 for a high school assignment, Walker, then 16, told his parents that he planned to convert to Islam. The news at first came as a surprise, but in time, both his father, a strict Irish-Catholic and his mother, a Buddhist, came to support their son’s new faith. “He was a spiritual kid,” father Frank Lindh told NEWSWEEK. “He was exceptionally devoted to his studies."

Let me be frank, here is a child raised by "progressive" parents, one a Roman Catholic and the other a Buddhist, and grew up in Silver Springs, MD until his parents moved him to Marin County. If you have any knowledge of both locales, you'll know that neither houses many poor people. In Marin County (though I cannot attest to Maryland's school system) you are likely to get thrown out of school if you show up with a Bible, but you are required to study the Koran!

This is a religion whose holy book advocates and excuses followers for executing their enemies, though I know most Muslims in America do not ascribe to that behavior. Peaceful is not something suggested or advocated by the Koran. It is the only religion who came into power by war, circa 1017 A.D. Some religions have resorted to conflicts and violence over the centuries, Christians included. Christians, Buddhists, Jews, Hindus, have all come to be believers that peace is the best way, but conflicts require solutions. Islam has not gone through a Renaissance-type period in their history. Perhaps it is about to do so?

Blogging on Bloggers

Anyone want to bet on the panic a story like this is giving the liberal media, a.k.a. mainstream media?

"By late afternoon in the USA, hours after the London bombings, the number of postings to blogs was up 30% from the previous day, according to Dave Sifry, CEO of Technorati, a company that tracks the more than 12 million blogs now on the Web. Sixteen of the 20 most popular search terms on Technorati were about the London bombings."

I'd wait for a bit to visit the Technorati site. They've been slammed by this story, apparently.

"Top Searches This Hour
1.
London
2.
“London Bombing”
3.
Nerac
4.
“London Bomb” "

Yahoo has this story listed as being posted 1 hour ago! Go figure! Are you quaking in your antiqued boots, aBS, seeBS, nBS?

I'm going to follow some links and get some personal insights of eye-witnesses! No promises I won't be back today. There might be something so fascinating or edifying that I'll get the bug to blog and it is too hot to be outside!

Who Is Tony Benn?

I heard this person on Laura Ingraham's radio program saying,

"Surely what we need now is a peace conference in the Middle East dealing with all the issues - dealing with Iran, where there's a whole argument about nuclear weapons, dealing with Afghanistan....dealing with Iraq, dealing with Syria,"

With whom, Tony would you meet? The radical President of Iran? The same one who was among the kidnappers of Americans during Carter's disaster years? Or did you mean bin Laden? Any idea how you are going to get him out of his cave?

Curious as to what sort of daft Brit would say something so ridiculous, I embarked upon a search for something that would explain such an attitude bordering on the ludicrous and found The Saddam Hussein Interview:

Tony Benn: "I come for one reason only - to see whether in a talk we can explore, or you can help me to see, what the paths to peace may be. My only reason, I remember the war because I lost a brother. I never want to see another war. There are millions of people all over the world who don't want a war, and by agreeing to this interview, which is very historic for all of us, I hope you will be able to help me, be able to say something to the world that is significant and positive."

Sorry for your loss, Tony, but we see how well that worked out, didn't we? Mr. Benn, by the way, is the former leader of UK's Labour Party, the Socialist Democratic party.

At least they admit to being socialists, when is our Democrat party come out of the proverbial closet, and admit they are too?

These People Make Me Laugh!

Anyone wanting to know what the liberal mind set is all about needs to add The Huffington Post to their list of liberal reading. Especially this one...it's proof they just don't have a clue about America. It is obvious they've never learned what the little word "capitalism" means:

"I cruised his [Rush's] online library book aisle for an announcement about what he's doing with the profits from a line of clothing based on the incarcerated, but the closest I could come to a clue was an ad for The Purpose-Driven Life by Rick Warren, the bestseller by the guy with the Costco-size church in Orange County. Warren isn't a bad guy - he may be selling low-carb scripture but basically the message is service to humankind and there's nothing wrong with that."

He's keeping it, moron! It is called "profit". Profit is what keeps you folks' tax revenues humming, in case you didn't understand the concept!

I can hardly wait to get our Gitmo shirts! I'll have to take my camera with me to Los Angeles for my son's wedding. I can hardly wait to annoy a liberal!

Note I did not say "democrat", but "liberal". You have to love it when the likes of Chuckles Schumer & Shrillary Rodham out themselves by squeals of pain over Karl Rove's speech recently!

"But perhaps the most important difference between conservatives and liberals can be found in the area of national security. Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 and the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers. In the wake of 9/11, conservatives believed it was time to unleash the might and power of the United States military against the Taliban; in the wake of 9/11, liberals believed it was time to… submit a petition. I am not joking. Submitting a petition is precisely what Moveon.org did. It was a petition imploring the powers that be” to “use moderation and restraint in responding to the… terrorist attacks against the United States.”

Want some fun? On your browser, go to "Edit", then "Find on this page", and enter "liberal". See how many times, and in how many ways, he outs liberals! No wonder they were squealing! And no wonder they fear him & Rush. Both of them have their "number"! [snicker...snicker]

UPDATE!

More and more reports are showing up, and it appears this "celebrated" attack on London was more of a fizzle. I'm sure it did not feel that way to those folks on trains and busses which had been bombed. For one thing, the death toll is much less than originally reported, and less than feared.

Since that time, ABC headline on their site states;

"ABC NEWS HAS LEARNED BRITISH OFFICIALS TOLD U.S. LAW ENFORCEMENT THEY RECOVERED TWO UNEXPLODED BOMBS IN LONDON"

2 unexploded devices have been found! The fast response of London's readiness groups shut-down all cell-phone traffic very quickly, which may account for the unexploded devices. And the watchful eye of London's bobbies took care of another evil-doer. Radio reports I heard mid-morning said police shot a suicide bomber at a wharf. That link I've not located as yet. I'll keep looking.

Reports on some MSM channels tell us that there are reports bin Laden has told Zarqawi to remove his people from Iraq. I fervently hope and pray that is true. My Iraqi friends need some relief. But we all know the MSM well enough to know their "logical" deduction from that; Zarqawi's terrorists are "seasoned veterans of urban warfare", which of course translates to: "IT'S AMERICA'S FAULT!!!"

I will continue to moniter the news sites, and find links for the above reports. I hate posting without links, but news is breaking too fast for me to keep up with!

What a Difference a Day Makes

Yesterday I was doing the Happy Dance with Londoners for beating out France to get the Olympics in 2012, and this morning I am praying for them. They still do not know how many blasts have gone off, the numbers range from 3 to 7. They also have only two confirmed fatalities, but we all know that number will raise. Al Qaeda's statement of responsibility, nay, bragging and saying they have sent them running in terror is a wake up call to the EU, and Americans who were so safe that some were forgetting the danger. The evil doers have even reportedly hit a hospital according to a recent radio report....and the story is still developing.

"The heroic mujahedeen carried out a blessed attack in London, and now Britain is burning with fear and terror, from north to south, east to west," the statement said."

The truth of it is, they did not go running in terror. In watching the coverage, I see the British people with bandaged heads and others being evacuated quietly and stoically. The terrorists have awakened another sleeping giant. Let them tremble in fear!

Bringing America Together

I know that the pundits & libs at Democratic Underground are having serious fits over the opening of a seat on the Supreme Court. The idea of a Supreme Court justice of President Bush's choosing is terrifying to them. They are aware the only way their side gets it's left-wing ideas, i.e. bigger government, keeping abortion laws intact, and a continuation of their "tax the rich" campaign going, is through the power of the activist judges in courts, or Supreme Court judges who don't bother to read the Constitution to make their decisions.

With that thought in mind, I am going to address the left: You may want to join sides with the right, and insist on an all-originalist Supreme Court. An originalist is a judge who will study the Constitution, and decide if the issue was addressed therein. Abortion was never mentioned in the Constitution. I must assume that many of you own homes. Eminent Domain is clearly outlined in the Constitution, but the current court chose to ignore the delineations. Dred Scott was another example of judicial activism, and in this case, racist jurists.

"In 1846, Dred Scott and his wife Harriet filed suit for their freedom in the St. Louis Circuit Court. This suit began an eleven-year legal fight that ended in the U.S. Supreme Court, which issued a landmark decision declaring that Scott remain a slave. This decision contributed to rising tensions between the free and slave states just before the American Civil War."

Why, you ask, would I suggest that the you join forces with Conservatives? Well, for one thing, the only major election you have won since Reagan's presidency was with Slick Willie Clinton. I understand you selectively forget that his first term was with only 43% of the popular vote, and his 2nd with 49%. Your side has been losing seats in both houses of Congress since President Reagan. Do you refuse to understand the largest number of votes in our history went to President Bush, with a full 51%?

Have you noticed how the far right is also against jurist William Pryor? Judge Pryor was decried from the left, but also from the right. He was Attorney General of Alabama and prosecuted the case against Judge Roy Moore's fight to retain the 10 Commandments in his courthouse. The activist right-wing were as incensed as the left over the President's recess appointment of Judge Pryor. They don't like the fact that AG Pryor was following state law, while probably he agreed with their side.

Both sides need to get their collective $h*t together, because that is just the kind of judge we all need. The one who knows the LAW, and sticks to it. An originalist judge will look to see what the LAW says, and abide by it. If you want abortion to be legal, get political support in your state to write a law to permit it. If you don't like abortion, move to a state where it is illegal, have your legislators write a law forbidding it. Write laws to suit your preferences, and stop relying on some judge to do it for you! That is NOT what judges are supposed to do. That is when we go from a representative republic to an oligarcy.

You must realize you keep losing ground every election. Who is to say that a future GOP President will put right-wing activist judges on courts doing what your side has been doing for over 40 years. Perhaps this is an issue we can all get together on? Perhaps our battle cry could be "Remember Kelo & Dred Scott"!

My Thanks To My Iraqi Friends

I have been catching up my reading of my favorite Iraqi bloggers. After reading
Ali's patient answering of the most mundane questions from his American/Canadian/European readers, and then reading Sam at Hammorabi, and Muhammed and Omar at ITM, I just had to put in my 2 cents worth. I rarely e-mail any of these famed bloggers, but I was truely moved by them tonight. I sent the following to ITM, which sums up my feelings about them all:

"Mohammed and Omar, you may not realize how much your writing and precious time means to us in the US. The media and the lefties in our Congress are losing the battle, even though their words seem to get more air time. I write Dagney's Rant, and link to you often. The word really is getting out! The so-called "mainstream media" is losing their audience, and the congressional election in 2006 will prove to the left that their voice is not being heard. Our children are fighting for you, and are coming home with the stories of their victories, so the voices of the left are being drowned out by the truth.

I know you get a ton of e-mails, but I just wanted to thank you both, as I thank Ali for his efforts, for all you are accomplishing for your country, and for mine. This entire episode of time is bringing to our collective consciousness the insidious encroachment of socialism in our universities, of the America-democracy-free-market-hating professors who have been attempting to co-opt the minds of our young people for decades! History will mark your contributions to this awakening in America. May God keep you all safe."

Recently we heard that the seditious Ward Churchill is advocating those who would be "conscientious objecters" join the military, rather than opt out, so that they could "frag" their officers. Why are the tax dollars of Americans still paying this mans salary? I lament the ignominy of my birth state's continuation of the payment of red-white & blue-blooded Americans' tax dollars being misused in by paying this despicable persons salary! The worst part about it? He's not alone in academia! Sean Hannity champions a program to help the children of our fallen heroes (I will not link it here). I e-mailed Sean to say that in all good conscience, I could not contribute any money to his fund because I don't know that the college they would be going to would employ seditionists and traitors like Ward Churchill, et al.

While Omar and Mohammed at ITM are taking some time off from their blogging, their faithful readers still visit to chat among themselves.

"I click on your blog to lighten my spirits. To receive some glimmer of hope that Iraq is not a never-ending quagmire of insurgency. To convince myself that I was right when I believed that fighting the insurgents would have a payback in 10 or 20 or 30 years. To assure me that democracy does have a place in the arab world.

But where does Omar and Mohammed click to raise their spirits in times of depression? I don't know but I pray that they have a source to recharge themselves from time to time."

Where indeed? Omar & Mohammed, I hope and pray that you are taking a holiday to enjoy your new freedoms, but will return home to us soon. We still worry about you, though things are better now.

Meanwhile, their brother Ali, a pediatrician, has a message for those of us in America. Since he won't let me copy his last paragraph, you'll have to go read his post in its entirety. As always, Ali, a great & informative read.

A Fourth Of July Salute

A message to our troops, wherever you may be: A huge grateful "Thank You" for all you sacrifice for our country. To all of our Veterans of the armed services: A huge grateful "Thank You" for all you sacrificed for our country. There is no way I can thank you enough except to say that I wish all of you could be in our back yard today to share a beer & our barbecue ribs!

Forgive me, but I have to go political on you. The freedoms you have fought for us to keep, we are allowing to be eroded from within. We, The People need to take more responsibility for our laziness and continued "looking the other way" when government steps outside of the boundaries laid down by our Constitution. Or worse, the non-elected judges-for-life ignore the Constitution as they did in the recent Kelo decision. I forget which of our founding fathers said that a government big enough to give you everything you want, is also big enough to take it all away.

Be aware, America. That is happening already. Don't fall for the media squaring the Kelo decision by saying it's for "economic development". What it is, is a government deciding who they want to live and work, where THEY want them, and more importantly who they do not! Eminent Domain, for those of you who were educated in public schools in the last 20 years, was for roads for public use, dams providing water for public use, power plants providing power for public use (that has rarely been used). Not office buildings being preferred for the higher tax base, or because of the bribes paid by the developers to politicians!

While our military fights the War on Terror we, the people, need to be fighting against those who would take away freedoms generations of our military have fought and died for us to keep.

Happy Independence Day, Everyone! HOOOAH

Proud Texan

I am so proud of Texas Representative Tom DeLay, and Texas Senator John Cornyn! They are not taking the ridiculously anti-Constitution Kelo decision lightly. [hat tip: Rush Limbaugh's invaluable Stack of Stuff]

"The unchangeable principle of politics, morality, and common sense is that what's mine is mine and what's yours is yours," Rep. Tom DeLay (R-Tex.) said. "What the Court decided last week was that what's mine is not really mine, and what's yours is not really yours -- that, in fact, private property only exists as a political expedient, a psychological contrivance wholly subject to the government's whims."

The reality of this decision that makes it utterly scandalous should be obvious to most, if not all homeowners. The liberal media, as usual, does not see anything wrong with a city/county/state government taking your house away so they can give it to a developer or corporation so they can have a high tax base on your lot.

"A number of critics, including Justices Sandra Day O'Connor and Clarence Thomas, have warned that the Kelo decision will leave the poor, the elderly, and racial minorities most vulnerable to losing property to the government, and DeLay agreed:

"Those people with the least economic and political power -- with the least means to fight back and the most need for government protection of their God-given rights -- have been told by the Supreme Court that while property rights are sacred, some people's property rights are more sacred than others'." [who said the donks are the party of the "little people"? The common man? HAH]

"It is not a debatable ideological overreach, but a universally deplorable assault of the rights of man," DeLay said."

A gigantic ATTA BOY, Mr. DeLay!

John Cornyn did not allow any grass to grow under his feet on this issue either:

"WASHINGTON –U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, a member of the Constitution, Civil Rights and Property Rights subcommittee, introduced legislation Monday in response to a controversial ruling by the United States Supreme Court in Kelo v. City of New London. In a 5-4 decision, the Court held that government may seize the home, small business, or other private property of one owner and transfer that same property to another private owner, simply by concluding that such a transfer would benefit the community through increased economic development. The Cornyn legislation would prohibit such transfers of private property, without the owner’s consent, if federal funds were used, and if the transfer was for purposes of economic development rather than public use.

“It is appropriate for Congress to take action, consistent with its limited powers under the Constitution, to restore the vital protections of the Fifth Amendment and to protect homes, small businesses, and other private property rights against unreasonable government use of the power of eminent domain,” Cornyn said. “This legislation would declare Congress’s view that the power of eminent domain should be exercised only ‘for public use,’ as guaranteed by the Fifth Amendment, and that this power to seize homes, small businesses, and other private property should be reserved only for true public uses. Most importantly, the power of eminent domain should not be used simply to further private economic development.”

Well said, Senator! Well said. It is about dadgum time the Congress uses their constitutional right to rein in a runaway judiciary! Watch the lifties like Teddy the Toad, Stone-face Pelosi and Barbie Boxer-shorts scream like stuck pigs over this legislation!

Texas GOP Congress members, you do us proud in Texas! ((((((((((clapping)))))))))
