Oops!

Oh well, thought the following got lost in the nethers of the web, so did it again. So sue me! They're different, but give the same message!

This is one of those days when I wish women had not gotten the right to vote!

Most recent poll, broken down by sex (I refuse to use the more PC "gender", it is grammatically incorrect!), shows "If you vote for President today", 48% sKerry, and 42% Bush. I have just ONE suggestion, Ladies. STOP "feeling" and begin to use your brain before you engage your heart! It makes me rethink my pride in the Iraqis' constitution that mandates a 25% content of their congress be women!

I recently had someone send me an e-mail that I want to share, to show you that we have a tradition of smart, strong, and determined women. (Where they are now is anyone's guess! Those genes must be trying to get out of the gene-pool!) I'm just going to copy/paste the e-mail, as it can't be paraphrased, and I'd get too pithy if I tried. (I know O'Reilly likes that word, but I used it for years before I ever heard of him and his "liberal teacher in conservative hide" crap!) Here you go, Ladies:

Voting is a privilege earned the hard way. If you ever were tempted not to vote, read this: *Remember how women gained the right to vote. The women were innocent and defenseless. And by the end of the night, they were barely alive. Forty-prison guards wielding clubs and their warden's blessing went on a rampage against the 33 helpless women wrongly convicted of "obstructing sidewalk traffic."

* They beat Lucy Burn, chained her hands to the cell bars above her head and left her hanging for the night, bleeding and gasping for air. They hurled Dora Lewis into a dark cell, smashed her head against an iron bed and knocked her out cold. Her cellmate, Alice Cosu, thought Lewis was dead andsuffered a heart attack. Additional affidavits describe the guards grabbing, dragging, beating, choking, slamming, pinching, twisting and kicking the women.

Thus unfolded the "Night of Terror" on Nov. 15, 1917, when the warden at the Occoquan Workhouse in Virginia ordered his guards to teach a lesson to the suffragists imprisoned there because they dared to picket Woodrow Wilson's White House for the right to vote. For weeks, the women's only water came from an open pail. Their food-all of it colorless slops-was infested with worms. When one of the leaders, Alice Paul, embarked on a hunger strike, they tied her to a chair, forced a tube down her throat and poured liquid into her until she vomited. She was tortured like this for weeks until word was smuggled out to the press.

So, refresh my memory. Some women won't vote this year because-why, exactly?

We have carpool duties? We have to get to work? Our vote doesn't matter? It's raining? In 2000, over 40 million women didn't vote. Even if only 10% of them had gone to the polls, America would be a very different country right now. Spread the word and get more women to vote and Change the World!

*HBO has a new movie "Iron Jawed Angels." It is a graphic depiction of the battle these women waged so that we could pull the curtain at the polling booth and have our say.

* HBO will run the movie periodically before releasing it on video and DVD.It is jarring to watch Woodrow Wilson and his cronies try to persuade apsychiatrist to declare Alice Paul insane so that she could be permanentlyinstitutionalized. And it is inspiring to watch the doctor refuse. Alice Paul was strong, he said, and brave. That didn't make her crazy. The doctor admonished the men: "Courage in women is often mistaken for insanity."

"Change the world"? Ladies, why do you think these terrorists hate us? Part of it is that they don't want women to have a vote, any rights, any voice! They are so afraid that Iraq will be a success, they are doing all they can to stop it from being a success! They want you to wear Burhkas, and be a servant! Does that not give you pause as to whom should be in the Oval Office? Are you listening to the lefty loonies who call us occupiers? The ones encouraging these sick, evil thugs? HELLLLOOOOOOO! And did you notice, in reading this, this must have been back when the press actually did the right thing, you think? Who are you listening to, 48% of American women? Dan Blather & the other willing accomplices in the media? You're lack of back bone sickens me!

Have you noticed in this interesting historical prospective, what party Wilson belonged to? He's the dumocrap who thought up income tax! He & his dumocrap colleagues knew liberals wouldn't know they were getting stuck like pigs with all of their pork barrel projects if their money was taken out of their check before they got it, and didn't have to actually write a check to the government....and they were correct! Anyone want to rethink their vote? The dumocraps are no longer representative of America!!!!!

And I'm too short to wear long robes! I'd look like Yoda!

[This was not meant as a promo for HBO, by the way! I don't even subscribe to it!]

The Blog Gods at the last try!

I'm going to try this again! I was so upset and disappointed at one poll I saw today, my last attempt to post this didn't work. The poll showed that 48% of women voters would vote "today" for sKerry! Only 42% would vote for Bush. Are you kidding? Was the poll loaded with single women whose boyfriends are deployed before they get their promise rings? What is UP with you wingnuts? Let me see, it must be women who are accustomed to liars in their life?

In the spirit of reminding y'all of our historical past, American women fought hard to get the right to vote. Let me share this:

Voting is a privilege earned the hard way.

*Remember how women gained the right to vote. "The women were innocent and defenseless. And by the end of the night, they were barely alive. Forty-prison guards wielding clubs and their warden's blessing went on a rampage against the 33 helpless women wrongly convicted of "obstructing sidewalk traffic." What had they done?

* They beat Lucy Burn, chained her hands to the cell bars above her head and left her hanging for the night, bleeding and gasping for air. They hurled Dora Lewis into a dark cell, smashed her head against an iron bed and knocked her out cold. Her cellmate, Alice Cosu, thought Lewis was dead and suffered a heart attack. Additional affidavits describe the guards grabbing, dragging, beating, choking, slamming, pinching, twisting and kicking the women. Thus unfolded the "Night of Terror" on Nov. 15, 1917, when the warden at theOccoquan Workhouse in Virginia ordered his guards to teach a lesson to the suffragists imprisoned there because they dared to picket Woodrow Wilson's White House for the right to vote. For weeks, the women's only water came from an open pail. Their food-all of it colorless slops-was infested with worms. When one of the leaders, Alice Paul, embarked on a hunger strike, they tied her to a chair, forced a tube down her throat and poured liquidinto her until she vomited. She was tortured like this for weeks until word was smuggled out to the press.

So, refresh my memory. Some women won't vote this year because-why, exactly? We have carpool duties? We have to get to work? Our vote doesn't matter? It's raining? In 2000, over 40 million women didn't vote. Even if only 10%of them had gone to the polls, America would be a very different countryright now. Spread the word and get more women to vote and Change the World!

*HBO has a new movie "Iron Jawed Angels." It is a graphic depiction of the battle these women waged so that we could pull the curtain at the polling booth and have our say.

* HBO will run the movie periodically before releasing it on video and DVD. It is jarring to watch Woodrow Wilson and his cronies try to persuade a psychiatrist to declare Alice Paul insane so that she could be permanently institutionalized. And it is inspiring to watch the doctor refuse. AlicePaul was strong, he said, and brave. That didn't make her crazy. The doctor admonished the men: "Courage in women is often mistaken for insanity."

Now, having posted that, I have to ask you this; WHAT ARE YOU THINKING????? I'm talking to those of you who might be in agreement with the 48%! HELLLLOOOOO! USE YOUR HEADS, Ladies! NOT your HEARTS! You don't like war? Fine. How about wearing a burhka? Not me! I'm too short! I'd look like Yoda! The people attacking free people in the USA (9/11, remember it?), in Russia (today), in Israel (today), in France (ever heard of the two journalists being held by the likes of Zarqawi in Iraq?) want you to not only wear one, but lose every right and privilege you currently enjoy. Want to drive your kids to soccer? Nope, sorry. Not allowed to drive. Gimme a break! 48% are stupid enough to think sKerry would do anything other than to ask the French what they think?

Like our fine dumocraps of today, the Democrat Woodrow Wilson wanted to prevent women from having the right to vote, or do anything else, except what they're told! And 48% would vote for one with the character (or lack thereof) of sKerry? Were the genes of the likes of Dora Lewis taken out of the gene pool? God forbid!

[Note: President Woodrow Wilson is the brainiac who dreamt up INCOME taxation! And his partners in crime figured out that if they took it out of dumocraps' paycheck, they'd never notice it was missing! They were correct!]

An Observation...nothing more...or is it?

I saw an old clip of Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech tonight. I'd never noticed before the men in the background....And I've seen that speech more times than I can tell you! But I have to ask, were those Muslim headgear on the men behind him?? The small beanie-like white hats on them? Somebody go dig out that footage and tell me, PLEASE, were they Muslims? If so, MLK would be appalled at those photos! Especially considering today's political climate! Was he trying to warn us of things to come? IMHO, he was. I adored that man, and I believe that Christ would have considered him an apostle!

All opinions welcome!

They Are At It Again!

The Left Coast just won't give up! They must really be panicking now, thanks to the Swift Vets! The Left Coast Report says that they are planning a "secret" fund raiser, "Stumping for the war-hero-turned-anti-war radical-turned-sensitive warmonger-turned-vet-praiser-turned-vet-basher will be Tony Bennett, Courtney Cox, Leonardo DiCaprio, Melanie Griffith, Anjelica Huston, Michael Keaton, Viggo Mortensen, Rob Reiner, Mary Steenburgen, Ted Danson and Sharon Stone, among others. The price to break bread with the candidate who professes to relate to ordinary Americans is five G's a plate."

I read a blog belonging to a soldier yesterday that gave me a glimpse at how the combined efforts of Hollywierdos & their willing accomplices in the media are having a negative effect on their morale. You may have to read back a day or so, but they've got this one convinced that the economy is in the toilet, folks are standing in soup lines & can't even afford to go to concerts. http://soldierlife.blogspot.com/ That part made me laugh! Travis Tritt's concerts are selling out, as are other pro-American performers, but poor picked upon Madonna seems to have a problem getting anyone to come to hers. Hmmmmm..... I explained to him the reason for that, btw! The American people are telling these public disgraces how we support them; we DON'T!

Got this in an e-mail today, just had to share it: "The Lord has a way of revealing those of us who really know Him, and those that don't! Think about it!

Kerry gave a big speech last week about how his faith is so "important" to him. In this attempt to convince the American people that we should consider him for president, he announced that his favorite Bible verse is John 16:3. Of course the speech writer meant John 3:16, but nobody in the Kerry camp was familiar enough with scripture to catch the error. And do you know what John 16:3 says?
John 16:3 says; "They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me."
The Spirit works in strange ways."" How true it is!

Had to share my favorite pundit's observations on Skerry! It took me awhile to wipe the laughter tears out of my eyes so I could see to post this!

Article by Ann Coulter:

Kerry was indisputably brave in Vietnam, and it's kind of cute to see
Democrats pretend to admire military service. Physical courage, like
chastity, is something liberals usually deride, but are tickled when it
accidentally manifests itself in one of their own. One has to stand in
awe of Kerry's military service 33 years ago. Of course, that's where it
ends, including with Kerry -- inasmuch as, upon his return from war in
1970, he promptly began trashing his fellow Vietnam vets by calling them
genocidal murderers.

But if Bush can't talk to Kerry about the horrors of war, then Kerry
sure as hell can't talk to anyone about the plight of the middle class.
Kerry's life experience consists of living off other men's money by
marrying their wives and daughters. For over 30 years, Kerry's primary
occupation has been stalking lonely heiresses. Not to get back to his
combat experience, but Kerry sees a room full of wealthy widows as "a
target-rich environment." This is a guy whose experience dealing with tax
problems is based on spending his entire adult life being supported by
rich women.

What does a kept man know about taxes?

In 1970, Kerry married into the family of Julia Thorne -- a family
estimated to be worth about $300 million. She got depressed, so he
promptly left her and was soon seen catting around with Hollywood
starlets, mostly while the cad was still married. (Apparently, JFK really
was his mentor.)

Thorne is well-bred enough to say nothing ill of her Lothario
ex-husband.

He is, after all, the father of her children -- a fact that never
seemed to constrain him. When Kerry was about to become the latest Heinz
family charity, he sought to have his marriage to Thorne annulled,
despite the fact that it had produced two children. It seems his second
meal ticket, Teresa Heinz, wanted the first marriage annulled -- and
Heinz is worth more than $700 million.

Kerry claims he will stand up to powerful interests, but he can't even
stand up to his wife. Heinz made Kerry sign a prenuptial agreement,
presumably aware of how careless he is with other people's property, such
as other people's Vietnam War medals, which Kerry threw on the ground
during a 1971 anti-war demonstration.

At pains to make Kerry sound like a normal American, his campaign has
described how Kerry risked everything, mortgaging his home in Boston to
help pay for his presidential campaign.

Technically, Kerry took out a $6 million mortgage for "his share" of
"the family's home" -- which was bought with the Heinz family fortune.

Why should he spend his own money?

He didn't throw away his own medals.

I'm sure the average working stiff in Massachusetts can relate to a
guy who borrows $6 million against his house to pay for TV ads.

Kerry's campaign has stoutly insisted that he will pay off the
mortgage himself, with no help from his rich wife. Let's see: According
to tax returns released by his campaign, in 2002, Kerry's income was
$144,091.

But as The Washington Post recently reported, even a $5 million
mortgage paid back over 30 years at favorable interest rates would cost
$30,389 a month or $364,668 a year. >

The Democrats' joy at nominating Kerry is perplexing. To be sure,
liberals take a peculiar, wrathful pleasure in supporting pacifist
military types.

But if we're going to determine fitness for office based on life
experience, Kerry clearly has no experience dealing with problems of
typical Americans since he is a cad and a gigolo living in the lap of
other men's money.

Kerry is like some character in a Balzac novel, an adventurer twirling
the end of his mustache and preying on rich women. This low-born poseur
with his threadbare pseudo-Brahmin family bought a political career with
one rich woman's money, dumped her, and made off with another heiress to
enable him to run for president.

If Democrats want to talk about middle-class tax cuts, couldn't they
nominate someone who hasn't been a poodle to rich women for the past 33
years?

Don't forget -- John Kerry is strong on defense:

* He voted to kill the Bradley Fighting Vehicle
* He voted to kill the M-1 Abrams Tank
* He voted to kill every Aircraft carrier laid down from 1988
* He voted to kill the Aegis anti aircraft system
* He voted to Kill the F-15 strike eagle
* He voted to Kill the Block 60 F-16
* He voted to Kill the P-3 Orion upgrade
* He voted to Kill the B-1
* He voted to Kill the B-2
* He voted to Kill the Patriot anti Missile system
* He voted to Kill the FA-18
* He voted to Kill the B-2
* He voted to Kill the F117

In short, he voted to kill every military appropriation for the
development and deployment of every weapons systems since 1988 to include
the battle armor for our troops. With Kerry as president our Army will be
made up of naked men running around with sticks and clubs.

He also:
* voted to kill all anti-terrorism activities of every agency of the
US Government
* and to cut the funding of the FBI by 60%,
* to cut the funding for the CIA by 80%,
* and cut the funding for the NSA by 80%..

But then he voted to increase OUR - the USA's - funding for U.N.
operations by 800%!!!

Skerry's Whining Reaches a New & Fevered Pitch!

Now he wants President Bush to "stand up and have the courage to talk about the issue"! You mean like Skerry stood up and called the filth spewed by his hollywierd fans at a recent fund raiser, "the voices of America"? Like the way he quotes from Michael Mooron's movie? Get over it, Skerry! I say the day Skerry decries the lies that have been spewed about President Bush for the past 3 1/2 years, then perhaps President Bush should decry the efforts of the Swift Vets, but not until then!!

Skerry has filed a request to stop the ads with the FEC (Federal Election Commission), charging that President Bush is behind the ads, without one shred of evidence! He needs to stop whining, and sign Form 180 to release his records. But he can't do that, as they would back up the Swift Boat Veterans! So he needs to either put up, or shut up!

SKERRY'S PANIC - SWIFTBOAT VETS HAVING AN IMPACT!

Don't you just love what happens when Libs panic? The first thing they do is try to get the offenders stopped by some obscure law, or regulation! They cannot argue with what the Swift Boat Veterans are saying, so they're now trying to stop their ability to say it! The Swift Boat Veterans for Truth [ http://www.swiftvets.com/ and scroll down to read a statement to respond to Skerry's newest dodge!] is a group (if you've been in a cave, or watching the liberal media) which served either with Skerry or were impacted by his senate hearing lies about his imagined atrocities. If you are in my age group, you know lots of people who were in Nam. Ask yourself if you ever heard of any of them committing atrocities? Me neither, and I was married to two of them! Crummy husbands, but they were not guilty of atrocities, nor had they witnessed any!

Thanks to 450,000 donors (myself included!), and $150,000 seed money from a Houston developer, they have produced a couple of commercials about what they observed about this phony while he was in Viet Nam for a scant 4 months. They are running the ads (shown on the site) in 3 states, swing states, and are apparently having some inroads in the attitudes of the undecided.

Their book, "Unfit for Duty" about Skerry's time in Nam is #1 on Amazon.com's best seller list. It chronicles their knowledge and observations of Skerry, with data backing up their claims. It includes 17 of his 24 commanding officers, and is signed and backed by 256 veterans. Pretty damning evidence of his obsession to be "the next JFK", and his underhanded calculations to get in and out of Nam as fast as he could...and the TRUTH about how he got those "Purple Hearts" and medals he loves to brag about.

If there was ever a more glaring reason to vote for Bush, it is the idea that this unscrupulous crook would be in charge of our military!

One Man, Making a difference...

I heard a Paul Harvey broadcast today, on our way home from the beach. The broadcast epitomizes my aversion to our bureaucracies in America.

Mr. Harvey had a story about a man who has made astronomy and its study, his life's work. He is going to be demonstrating his hobby, his telescope, and how to make your own telescope at home, out of affordable and easily accessible materials. He's holding a seminar at a site in Wisconsin, on the lake. (Google it, that's not my primary reason for blogging this subject! It's tonight, so don't bother to figure out how to go there!).

My reason for blogging this, is to reiterate my mistrust of government programs, and to reinforce the reason why I believe in the spirit of the American people!

This one man is going to offer up his expertise to anyone who cares to take advantage of it, and in that crowd of "who knows how many" people, there will be one child, one teen, one person who will say "WOW, this is INTERESTING" and they will pursue it like the passion this man is sharing. If it's only one, it was worth it!

God Knows that our NEA-ruled schools are NOT inspiring that kind of interest in ANY discipline....oooh, oops...maybe discipline is the wrong word? Dadgum, it's not PC, is it?

What's Up With These Guys?

For the past two years, Dumocraps have been screaming bloody murder about being "stretched too thin" militarily. They've complained because we didn't have enough troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. They've hollered that we're not protecting the homeland!

Yesterday, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Convention, President Bush announced that he was bringing home 70,000 (app.) troops from around the world. No more of our soldiers' dollars will be spent supporting local businesses in our allies' countries. Germany and France's economies just took a whale of a hit! Korea's economy will take a hit too, but it's healthier than in the socialist countries of the EU. I say hooray! It's about dadgum time we make Japan spend their own money to protect their shores!

The Dumocraps are having a hissy-fit over it! Never mind they've been complaining about not enough troops, now they're complaining about troops coming home! Don't these guys ever remember what they've said? Oh, wait....I know, they're afraid of 70,000+ military votes that will be made at home, that they cannot steal out of mailboxes of absentee votes! Since the families are coming home too, that could be as much as 140,000 more military votes! No wonder their screaming bloody murder!

I Learned A New Game Today!!!

What a wonderful feeling to watch the Iraqi soccer team win against Costa Rica today in Greece! The only soccer games I've watched have been my grandson's, so today was a totally amazing experience.

Between my annual viewing of the PGA Championship, with the added incentive of witnessing the Women's Amateur Championship's beginning festivities & meeting the amazing young women playing in that battle up close and in person, I turned into a total couch potato today! I absolutely had to watch the Olympic competition between Iraq and Costa Rica.

And I did! WOW! My smattering of understanding of the game was greatly expanded by the display of "The Wall"!!! After Costa Rica's team sent an Iraqi player off the field on a stretcher, the Iraqis apparently got to kick what we in America would call a "field goal", but our teams do not field a "wall"....i.e., the preponderance of the opposing team standing shoulder to shoulder, arms protecting important physiological areas such as the groin and heart/lung regions, as the kick was sent directly into the line? Mix? Whoa! Nabil needs to give me lessons in their version of football! That's the kind of "block" unlike any I've ever witnessed!!!

Didn't they say the 9/11 Commission was "Non-Partisan"?

Before we left on our recent trip, I decided to purchase the 9/11 Commission Report. I'd heard it was very informative, read like a novel, etc. I was not disappointed on these couple of points. Parts of it read like a history book, in elucidating the origins of many of the laws and regulations around which the intelligence community has been built, particularly since WWII.

Where it got silly, IMHO, was in section "3.6....AND IN THE WHITE HOUSE", wherein it sought to denigrate the Reagan Administration's attempts to stem the tide of Communism in South America, while extolling the virtues of Clinton's rhetoric and promises. Whereas Reagan's Administration's circumventing of a bill he himself "had signed into law that made it illegal to ship military aid to anti-communist guerrillas in Nicaragua, whom he strongly supported." And then closely quoting all of the glowing promises Clinton made about all he was planning/intending/going to do for securing the safety of our country, yet in the following section, proving all those promises to be hollow.

It then goes on, in the first part of this chapter 3.6 [pgs 98-104] section, entitled "And in the White House" to highlight the high and mighty promises made by President Clinton in his response to "...the plot to kill President Bush, President Clinton stated: "From the first days of our Revolution, America's security has depended on the clarity of the message: Don't tread on us."..." It goes on for two more pages extolling the virtues and quoting the promises that Clinton made to the fight against terrorism. "When President Clinton took office, he decided right away to coordinate counterrism from the White House." [And what was really going on in the White House? We're still trying to figure out what Sandy Bergler was stuffing in his britches and socks! That's not considered "stealing" to Slick Willie, it's considered "sloppy". What is sloppy is that his fellow crook got caught with his pants full, instead of DOWN!]

However, in the following section of 3.6 entitled "Congress Adjusts" [pgs 104 & 105] it puts all of those glowing promises Clinton made into their proper light by saying "Presidents are selective in their use of political capital for international issues." and, "...but by and large the overall funding authorized and appropriated by the congress comes out close to the president's request. This tendency was certainly illustrated by the downward trends in spending on defense, intelligence, and foreign affairs in the first part of the 1990's. The White House, to be sure, read the political signals from Capitol Hill, but the Congress largely acceded to the executive branch's funding requests." NONE....but the cuts, that is!

I guess it is fair, balanced, and non-partisan, after all! As usual, Clinton talked a good talk, but couldn't bring himself to walk the good walk, thereby hamstringing the intelligence capability of our country!

May God have mercy on his soul.

What a Trip!

After a fun, eventful, exciting trip to Erie, PA to attend the opening festivities of this week's Women's Amateur Golf Championship at the Kahkwa Club (est. 1893), and an exhausting and LONG trip home to Texas, I found the following in my e-mail box. It is entirely factual, and is a GREAT idea, though I doubt it will become necessary:

THE FUTURE OF TEXAS

Please note that Texas is the only state with a legal right to secede from the Union (please refer to the Texas-American Annexation Treaty of 1848). We Texans love y'all, but we'll have to take action if Kerry wins president over Bush. We'll miss you, too.

Texas has given all those complainers plenty of time to get used to the results. After seeing the whiners along the campaign route, the folks from Texas are considering taking matters into our own hands.

Here is our solution:

#1: Let John Kerry become President of the United States (all 49 of 'em).

#2: George W. Bush becomes the President of the Republic Of Texas. So what does Texas have to do to survive as a Republic?
1. NASA is just south of Houston, Texas. We will control the space industry.
2. We refine over 85% of the gasoline in the United States.
3. Defense industry, we have over 65% of it. The term "Don't mess withTexas," will take on a whole new meaning.
4. Oil, we can supply all the oil that the Republic of Texas will need for the next 300 years. Yankee states? Sorry about that.
5. Natural gas, again we have all we need and it's too bad about those northern states. John Kerry will have to figure a way to keep them warm.
6. Computer industry, we currently lead the nation in producing computer chips and communications: small places like Texas Instruments, DellComputer, EDS, Raytheon, National Semiconductor, Motorola, Intel, AMD, Atmel, Applied Materials, Ball Semiconductor, Dallas Semiconductor, Delphi,Nortel, Alcatel, etc., etc. The list goes on and on.
7. Health centers, we have the largest research centers for cancer research, the best burn centers and the top trauma units in the world, and other large health planning and research centers.
8. We have enough colleges to keep us going: UT, Texas A&M, Texas Tech,Rice, SMU, University of Houston, Baylor, UNT, Texas Women's University...ivy grows better in the south anyway.
9. We have a ready supply of workers. Texans still understand the meaning, and employ a work ethic! We'll just open the border if we need more.
10. We have control of the paper industry, plastics and insurance.
11. In case of a foreign invasion, we have the Texas National Guard and theTexas Air National Guard. We don't have an army, but since everybody down here has at least six rifles and a pile of ammo, we can raise an army in 24 hours if we need it. If the situation really gets bad, we can always call Department of Public Safety and ask them to send over a couple TexasRangers.
12. We are totally self sufficient in beef, poultry, hogs and several types of grain, fruit and vegetables and let's not forget seafood from the gulf. And everybody down here knows how to cook them so that they taste good. Don't need any food.

This just names a few of the items that will keep the Republic Of Texas in good shape. There isn't a thing out there that we need and don't have.

Now, to the rest of the United States under President Kerry: Since you won't have the refineries to get gas for your cars, only President Kerry will be able to drive around in his 9 mile per gallon SUV. The rest of the UnitedStates will have to walk or ride bikes. You won't have any TV as the space center in Houston will cut off your communications. You won't have any natural gas to heat your homes, but since Mr. Kerry has predicted global warming, you will not need the gas.

Signed,

The People in Texas

Heard Any Good News Lately?

As if it were not enough that we have to deal with the hollywierdos, we also have their buddies & willing accomplices in the media to put up with! Guess we need to learn to get our own news. Thanks to BL (Commenter at Iraq the Model ) for sharing this site;

http://www.centcom.mil/CENTCOMNews/release_list.asp

Centcom is Central Command for the military, and they provide press releases that go fairly ignored in the media. "For Immediate Release"? Yeah, Right!

[P. S. Please pay no attention to the font change, I have tried everything to get it to be uniform, but it just continues to ignore me!]

I want to add another link; http://combatarms.mu.nu/archives/039800.php . Please go to this site and write a letter to a soldier or a marine, any service, because the damned Michael Moron movie has upset the troops, and they need some positive letters from us! Add yours to the comments section, they will be hand delivered by an activated soldier when he gets to Iraq! Go for it! Let them know that everyone in America with a half a brain knows it's mostly lies! We still believe in them!

Here We Go Again!

The Hollywierdos just do not get it! Even after the sequel to Michael Moron's movie, a.k.a. "The Manchurian Candidate"(R), touted by critics as being masterful, only made a third of the money that "The Village" made over the weekend. "The Village" (PG) was artfully panned by the same critics singing praises of "Moron Part Deux", yet they are about to release another abortion. Check it out at http://www.teamamericamovie.com/. According to The Drudge Report, it pokes fun at terrorists, the war on terror, etc. What an abomination! Yet they continue on their merry way, thinking that America is still swallowing their swill!

They haven't even noticed that all but one of the top ten grossing movies in the past year were rated G or PG. The only one that was not G or PG, was Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ". Yet they seem more intent on trying to brainwash the American public, than in making money.

I always heard that Hollywood was all about the almighty dollar! They were, it seems, until President Bush came to office. Or should I say, since their failed attempt at stealing the 2000 election?

WOW!

That is pretty much all I can say about this University of Delaware's student's production. Chris Byrne, I am sending this to the RNC! http://www.republicangear.com

It takes awhile to load, but boy, is it worth the wait!
